We ordered an appetizer called The Speedy which took 55 minutes to arrive. Each beer order took 15 minutes to fill. When the food finally arrived it was all very tasty but the wait without any staff interaction was too long. Finally the aforementioned manager showed up in his bright line green shirt, pork pie hat, and scary whiskers to very kindly interact about a 200 person party that was stressing the kitchen. Some tips:Share that up frontGet the freaking appetizers out fastAnd the drinksOne guy fell asleep at his table. If they can get the service dialed in, the recipes are good.

Just the facts!Took 5min to be acknowledged by staff upon arrival.Steak ordered medium rare was well done.3 out of 4 of us ordered mashed potatoes and all 3 were ice cold. I'm not kidding it was ice cold.Steak sent back and then comes out rare. Potatoes all sent back and come out luke warm.By this time I'm just tired and want to leave.Save your money and your time and go some place else I wish I did.

Although it doesn't look like much from the outside, this small establishment offers some of the best burgers, nicest employees and cleanest restrooms I've ever experienced.The prices are reasonable, and the food quality outstanding. Definately a pleasant surprise as we drove through town!

No pretenses here! This is more of a bar for fisherman, and the restaurant seems to have been a second thought. Don't come for the ambiance, unless you think that having an onsite bait and tackle shop is romantic. A hot and tasty chicken sandwich with fries will run you about eleven dollars, and the classic fish and chips goes for fifteen, while a pepsi is three bucks. The views over the lake are fantastic, so I wish they would have washed all the fingerprints off their huge windows. Ample parking, right off the road between Granby and Grand Lake.

Great place for a burger and a brew. We had dinner outside that has a nice view of Granby and the mountains. There is also inside dining too. We had the burgers which were good. The Counter Burger is my choice for a 1/2 pound of beef. Include the cheese and sweet tater fries and youâre set. Not a big beer selection but some good choices though. Iâll be back!

My second time to Brickhouse 40. The first time was last August and then this September. I looked back at my prior review ... I think this place is even better than last time. We shared quite a few apps (Brussel sprouts, tuna poke, cheese board, fish tacos). All very yummy. We then jumped into a few of the soups, salads and mains. Everyone was happy with everything. We tried a few beers along the way -- nice selection. And our service was extraordinary. I'm sure next summer I'll be making my third visit.Hi Russell, Thank you so much for taking the time to give us an awesome review. We are so glad you experienced top notch service. Husband and I shared chicken fried steak- maybe 7/10 on scale. A bit thin/dry but nicely served, by friendly and very good wait staff. (Kept dirty plates cleared, etc.) Pork green chili was perfect Colorado Tex/mex dish. Chlorinated rap water nasty. Cheesecake fine, but frozen berries/sauce would have been better than flavored syrup. But would return.
