Hugging the shoreline between West Palm Beach to the north and Fort Lauderdale to the south, Boca Raton enjoys all the charm and affluence that Florida has to offer. Its welcoming small town charm and picturesque Mediterranean Revival architecture enchant visitors and residents alike, while 1500 acres of parks and miles of hiking paths promise plenty of pleasant greenery. A really fun night. Morgan, our server was super guiding us thru a five course dinner. Started with a cheese fondue, brie & bacon served with artisan breads and seasonal fruits & veggies. Very good. Naturally you cook your own meal.next was a choice of salads, I had the CALIFORNIA, Mixed Greens, Candied Pecans, Gorgonzola, and tomatoes with a Homemade Raspberry Walnut Vinaigrette, very good. My wife ordered the APPLE BACON SPINACH, Fresh Spinach , Crimini Mushrooms ,Sliced Egg, Spicy Pecans, and Granny Smith Apples with a| Apple Bacon Vinaigrette, also very good. For mains, we had to choose 1 cooking style so chose the COURT BOUILLON which is a seasoned vegetable broth. We got to chose 4 proteins from a list of 20 some. I selected the HONEY ORANGE DUCK BREAST,TERIYAKI-MARINATED SIRLOIN,CAJUN SHRIMP, and SESAME-CRUSTED AHI TUNA. My wife chose the HERB-CRUSTED CHICKEN BREAST,SHRIMP,FILET MIGNON, and OLD BAY SCALLOPS. They give 6 different dipping sauces, cocktail, teriyaki, honey mustard, yogurt, ginger plum, and 1 other. For dessert, we selected the RASPBERRY DARK CHOCOLATE FONDUE, Dark Chocolate and Raspberry Purée. They gave you strawberries, bananas, different cakes , all to dip. They have a very nice wine list.Thank you for your review. We are glad that you and your family enjoyed your visit. A great experience and appetite satisfaction is what we strive for!

I was very disappointed, because I was expecting an upscale steakhouse restaurant like many other steakhouse restaurants that I have been going to with similar prices, but the decor is just okay, soup is blah, oysters and clams were not as fresh, steak was just okay, mac and cheese was average and nothing special about it. Forget about the bread, they were cold, hard and old. However service was great! We are sorry we did not meet your expectations. All of our items are brought in fresh daily as well as the bread. We appreciate acknowledging our service; we wish would could have provided the same for dinner.

Though we are not really dessert eaters, we tried the chocolate cake which was excellent !! Want to call tomorrow to reserve the rest of the cake. It may be that some people think that a meal for two that costs over $300 (food, tea, bottle of wine, tax, gratuity) must be fantastic - that the level of enjoyment is dictated by the price, not the other way around. Luckily, my mother didn’t raise me that way. This meal was mediocre on all accounts. The amuse bouche was pleasant. The first course - lobster bisque - arrived an hour and twenty minutes after we did. It was fine, but not great. The salad was also fine - but took far too long to come out as well, given that the only prep required immediately beforehand was to toss the leaves in the dressing. The sorbet was the size of a melon ball - not even enough to cleanse the palate. The main course was like decent but not great home cooking - the duck a l’orange didn’t taste of orange at all, and the fish was simply grilled with little flavour. This course also took ages to arrive, which made no sense as the order had been taken an hour and a half before, all the sides for all the main courses were the same (I.e. the only thing being prepared uniquely for each diner was the protein), and again - none of the previous courses required more than 5 minutes’ prep time immediately before they were served, so there was no good reason for the delay. The creme brûlée was very good - hence the two stars here. But we were here for more than three hours. Slow dining is one thing - sending your diners to sleep is another. A couple of other things to note. There was absolutely no attention to plating. This would be ok if they weren’t charging fine dining prices. On the flip side, if you want to make your restaurant feel like you’re eating in someone’s home, you can’t charge this much. The lack of naming of the wineries on the wine list (where wines were listed by varietal, with no information about vineyard) was also really strange - again not you would expect of a place charging these prices, and might indicate that the pricing was arbitrary - they get in whatever Sancerre / Chardonnay etc they can that week, and charge the same price for whatever vineyard it comes from, rather than adjusting the price of the bottle according to the price they paid plus a mark-up.We just felt that the price of this prix fixe dinner was a show - people want to feel that the meal was good because they paid so much, but it’s a smoke screen that fails to hide the fact that this is a very ordinary restaurant with pretensions otherwise. Given that the owner implied, in his response to another review, that he would consider legal action for slander, I’d like to emphasise that these are the opinions of me and my fellow diner. Thank You for your quite candid feedback on what certainly must have been a very disappointing evening here at Six Tables. Frankly all I can do at this point is apologize for all of our pretensions and other "faux pas". Lastly since one of my responses was construed as taking legal action, I want the public to know that I was simply trying to make a point and have since removed that thoughtless comment. I wish you all the Best
