February 2, 2018 Elouise Mccaul

Klosters is a Swiss village in the Prättigau, politically part of the municipality of Klosters-Serneus, which belongs to the political district Prättigau/Davos in the canton of Graubünden. Klosters itself consists of the two main parts Klosters Dorf ('Village') and Kloster Platz ('Place'), and the settlements Selfranga, Äuja, Monbiel. Together with neighbouring Serneus, the two villages form the former municipality of Klosters-Serneus. On 1 January 2016 the former municipality of Saas im Prättigau merged into Klosters-Serneus.

Zwergenweg

This creative trail captures the attention of young and old. It makes 'hiking' fun for the little ones and is a delight for adults as well. The creative minds behind the Zwergenweg deserve a pat on the back for all the fun stops along the way. Even the baby was fascinated by the wooden marbles coming down the marble track.

We were staying in one of the hotels in Davos that included the full day ticket to public transportation and the Mountains rides. The base station is in the city center. There are two jumps to get to the top (two different cable cars). There are restaurants on both levels. The views are great at the top and there is a 360 view.

Nutli-Huschi Folk Museum (Heimatmuseum Nutli-Huschi)

Reviewed By Hilacus - Singapore, Singapore

On our this year's visit to Klosters we finally made it to visit the Nutli Hueschi. The typical farmer's house and stable aside allow an insight into the life of a local family in past times before tourism arrived to the mountain town.
It was nice to see all the lovely exposed tools and items. The kind ladies of the museum patiently answered all our questions.
I would totally recommend you to go there, when you take a break from skiing or the weather prevents you from going up to the mountain!

Schmugglerland

Reviewed By Albatros2007 - Canton of Zurich, Switzerland

Madrisa Land

Reviewed By Csider65 - Heysham, United Kingdom

We visited whilst staying in Klosters and walked across the meadows to gain access to the cable cars. Using the Davos Klosters Card from our hotel entrance was free. The cable car to 1900 meters gave great views up the valley towards Klosters and the surrounding Mountains. Madrisa Land itself is a child friendly adventure playground with not much for adults to do, however those that were there as a family seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Davos has all runs blue though to Black and a snowpark at Jacobshorn great place to board or ski but can be pricey for a full day lift ticket I only pay this when the snow is perfect and the pistes are not so busy.
Tips go when quite
and get a half day if you wish to save a little but saying that if you wanted a cheap boarding holiday you wouldnt be considering Davos
overeall great place to Board
