Located near Kranj and Skofja Loka, Crngrob is the ideal setting for a tourist farm. Almost everything is produced on the farm, and everything served is fresh and homemade. The tourist farm lunch includes beef soup with homemade noodles, roast pork, fried chicken or turkey, various cutlets, sausage and sauerkraut, buckwheat ?Ganci (groats), cottage cheese struklji, sausage preserved in minced lard, fresh vegetables, and salads and ends with fruit and potica. They also make several sorts of brandy. Guests will especially want to visit the Church of the Annunciation in Crngrob with its outstanding frescoes and magnificent Baroque organ, one of the most important artistic landmarks in Slovenia, as well as medieval Skofja Loka. The low mountains around Skofja Loka offer numerous fine hikes; Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj are a short drive away; nearby Soriska planina, Stari vrh, and Krvavec offer skiing in winter.

Food is delicious and is all produced by ourself on the farm. You will have a chance to see an animal life on the farm which is friendly to the animals and pleasant to the environment. Children can feed variety of domestic animals or enjoy on the children's playground. Our turistic farm is only 900 m away from the lake what gives you many possibilities to explore an interesting surrounding by hiking, cycling (with our bikes), riding our horses or going around by car. The Majercek tourist farm is located in Baselj, a small village north of Kranj. We are located cca. 30 km away from Bled, 15 km from Ljubljana Airport and 35 km away from Ljubljana (of which 25km on highways). There is also the a modern ski centre Krvavec 10 km away.The place is a perfect starting point for exploring Slovenia; it takes no more than 200 km to get to every part of our green country from here. The Majerček family lives under Storžič mountain. We offer accommodation for 15 persons, a hall for festivities and anniversaries (for up to 45 persons), a picnic area, a tennis court and pristine nature providing countless possibilities to spend free time.We can accommodate the guests in 2 double bedrooms (ensuite bathroom), 1 quadruple room and 1 smaller double room (sharing a bathroom) and an appartment for 4 persons (with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom) and a terrace. The rooms are equiped with LCD TV. There is a large dining/living room in the house with a baker's oven and a TV available for the guests to relax in the evening.
