Stopped for lunch today. Well worth the visit. I had vegetarian lasagne, could not eat the whole dish it was so large. Came with a nice salad, and bread. Easily the best veggie lasagne I've had. Staff were friendly, nice setting. Met the owner, very gracious and pleasant. So many wonderful little eateries in Popayan. Pizzeria Italiano is certainly one of them.

The most elegant and very popular among business people of the city restaurant,located in an old colonial house in the heart of the city.On the second floor there is room of the hotel with same nameKitchen with a claim to the French but with a local touch.At lunchtime, all the tables are occupied and you have to wait in line

The menu is a bit limited but the food is very good.Really fresh vegetables accompany the main dish. Limited beer & wine selection. Great fruit juices and tempting desserts. The potato empanadas appetizer is local served with a peanut sauce should be tried. At breakfast it is a treat to have fresh squeezed orange juice an very good coffee to accompany fresh organic scrambled eggs!

Went here for an evening meal with a friend. The service was good and surroundings lovely. The dinner options were however limited. The menu was mainly of crepes (which were nice). Mains were all pasta dishes. I enjoyed the food but better suited to lunch I felt.

We walked 4 blocks southwest of the main plaza to find this simple clean restaurant. The street gate opened directly to 7 small tables with 5 chairs each and people sitting together with lots of turnover.
We were handed a slip of paper to write down our table # and the 7 choices of the 9 wall-posted offerings; all for 4500 Cop each. This was taken up to the serving counter and a waitress soon returned with drinks, soup, salad, followed by the meal plate.
All our selections were tasty, but the soup, macaroni/cheese, and albondiga were luke warm and should have been served hotter. Overall really nice people and a great experience, totaling $3.50 for 2 meals..

We went here a few times and enjoyed it. The coffee was good and it had a nice atmosphere. The have a choice of breakfast options that are not expensive also.

As previous people have said service here is excellent, lovely staff. Prices are ok but we were left wanting... We have been to much better mexican places in Colombia where the food seems fresher. Everything is very liquid and just leaves you (not full) and wanting more. For example, if each dish came with a side option of rice or beans or nachos. This would really compliment the dishes and leave you fuller. Portion sizes weren't big enough for a decent, filling meal.

Almost didnt dare to get into the restaurant and were very positively surprised. The baby beef and tongue were very nice, granizado de lulo too! Dont hesitate to stop by here, much better that ither restaurants in the top 3 of Popayan!

No doubt, those are the best hot dogs in town, just delicious. Interior design need some improvement, but the service is great from the first moment you enter. Our waiter was kind, efficient and courteous. His recommendations were appropriate.
The food was superb. Meat was tender, fish delicious and sauces served did match very well the meat or fish. Portions were huge.
We asked for a good, strong coffee and we were offered good version of Colombian coffee.
The price was around 20 USD per person.
