Great value, clean and comfortable room
Reviewed By A5631JDlisaaWe are so glad that we made reservations at this hotel, and will rebook in the future when we are in the Watertown area. The room was spacious, clean, updated, and comfortable. We had a coffee pot right in our room, and a generous size refrigerator, and a microwave. There was a full size sofa in our room too, so we had a choice of where to sit, not just on the bed. The owner was very friendly and professional. Free internet worked very well, and fast. A/C worked very well! They do not include breakfast, and obviously we read that in the description when we booked, so we were not expecting a breakfast. The hotel is right across from Hardee's, Dollar General, and Marco's Pizza. I would highly recommend this motel to anyone needing to stay in Watertown

Room 103 smells terrible and the Tub hadn't been properly cleaned.
Reviewed By beckvisualsThe room I was assigned smelled like old gym socks and the bath tub still had hair in it from the previous guest. Breakfast was pretty much non-existent for a gluten free patron and even their coffee was really cheap and bitter. I will try never to stay there again. Too bad, it use to be a decent place to stay.

Dusty and Cluttered
Reviewed By 321mikkisI love staying at B&Bs. If this had been my first B&B experience I would never stay in one again. My bedroom was very dusty and cluttered. Literally every surface was covered with clutter. I actually lost my keys two times amongst the clutter. I don’t have the best eyesight, but even I could see the caked on dust on the wall hangings and items on flat surfaces. My room had two sinks - One in my bedroom and one in my private bathroom. The bathroom sink had caked-on (soap?) (toothpaste?) when I arrived. I used a plastic knife to scrape it up (didn’t think to take photos before I cleaned). My photos include grime around/behind the bathroom faucet and the cluttered flat surfaces. This B&B needs a DEEP clean and to remove clutter from flat surfaces. Some CLR, elbow grease, small crevice brushes, and making room for guests to place a wallet, purse, health/beauty items on a flat surface would make a huge improvement. Lastly, if you are allergic to dust mites, this is NOT the place to stay. I tripled my allergy meds during my two night stay. A note about the owners. I arrived after a nine hour drive. The male owner immediately started to give me the grand tour. I clearly communicated I was exhausted and needed to enter my private room to visit the restroom. He slowly continued with the unwanted tour and I was “allowed” in my room about 15 minutes later. Obviously not the best listening host (or maybe a male ego thing?). The female host was nice.

Best B&B in Wisconsin!
Reviewed By CheeseheadTraveler14We just spent an amazing weekend at the Katherine Holle house, and I can't say enough about our experience! I've been to about a dozen B&B's across Wisconsin, and this was by far my favorite :) The house itself was beautiful, so much attention to detail in the furniture and décor. And the breakfast was the best I've ever had at a B&B....delicious and huge portions. Pete had a waffle bar for us Sunday morning! Keri and Pete were the most gracious hosts, so kind and accommodating, and they had so many interesting stories to share. We loved getting to know them, it made the experience so special. Lots of fun things to do in the area too....great restaurants, shopping, and the Octagon house was a treat. We will definitely be going back, hopefully soon!
