Celebrated a birthday with three friends on Tuesday and had a nice meal. The place was crowded so they must be doing something right. The menu is extensive so there is something for everyone. Dishes are flavorful and the dipping sauces are great. Service was slow and had to ask for more water (it is nice when the serving staff notice when glasses need to be refilled instead of trying to get their attention).

If you don’t like noisy, “close quarters” restaurants this one is not for you. We were fine with the vibe but wouldn’t recommend this place to people over 30. While the food tasted good, nothing was outstanding or very memorable. Both cocktails we tried were just okay. The service was good.

I don’t venture out of my element too often as I am deathly allergic to eggs. They were very understanding, educated and accommodating. For the first time I was able to try two different dishes. Very impressed with the flavor and what I’ve been missing.

New Sake brewery and restaurant at the Ix Art Park stands out as an innovative spark to the wonderful “foodie” community in Charlottesville. Forget about your previous associations of Sake. Sake “North American Style” offers varieties like “Spicy Vacay” and “Sweet Agony” which infuse flavors like mango, lime leaf, jalapeño, and tart lemon. “Socky” Sake is infused with fruit punch. My favorite was “Big Baby” Which is unfiltered and cloudy and you are encouraged to “shake the baby.” And the food, OMG. We had the Tuna and Ora King Salmon poke bowl which was a generous serving and fantastic. The small plate appetizers were amazing. We enjoyed the koji crusted lamb and scallops en papillote.

Great little hole in the wall kind of place with amazing street food. The dumplings were incredible, as everyone has said, the pork buns tasty, and the sesame noodles were delicious. They weren't as "sesame" as I would have liked, more "peanuty" but super good nevertheless. Little ambiance inside but you can eat outside on the mall and watch the people go by.

Nice place for casual dining on Main Street. Very reasonable pricing. (I think my breakfast cost $5.95?) Parking garage one block away. I was with a larger party, and everybody got different things and all seemed to enjoy their meals. Some had breakfast, some had lunch. The interior is not huge, but they do have outside seating as well that will more than double their capacity in good weather. Keep in mind though, that there may be long weights when they can't seat outside. Outside is great for people watching.

My wife and I had our 15th anniversary dinner there with another couple and were extremely pleased. The staff made certain to wish us a Happy Anniversary upon our arrival and the decorated my wife's dessert plate with best wishes. The food is family-style, but exquisitely prepared. The pasta is not over cooked and the chicken francaise melted in your mouth. Highly recommend this place for a nice evening out with friends !!!

Stopped in while walking around the area. Service was good. Server was very knowledgeable about the beers they serve. Enjoyed the beers and had the pretzel appetizer. It was good just not enough beer cheese dip for the size of the pretzel. Stop in and have a brew.
