The friendly service of the waitress pulls rating up from two to three. A friendly, happy and helpful person.The lamb grill and schnitzel were tasty. All up to scratch without being special.Eating environment was also fine, though it reminded us of an old cowboy show when you walk into a bar and the piano player stops, everyone turns to look at you ... and all you hear is the wiping of a glass from behind the bar.Not a special spot, however it offers up good grills, in a clean environment, assisted by nice people. Have been to this place for coffee and an evening meal. The coffee is a good quality brew, but sometimes it gets busy and it requires a little wait (I suppose that supports my view that its a good coffee!). Had an opportunity to have an evening meal here (only recently opened for dinner on Saturdays) and was very pleasantly surprised. Quite authentic and tasty Italian food and at a price that represents good value for money. The food is aimed at being "homestyle" rather than fine dining and it certainly seems to be getting it right. Service is casual and suits this type of café.

Finished our 4wd trip in the high country and too tired to cook dinner ourselves, we decided to grab a pizza and happened upon Carlos's. We ordered the grand mal pizza - The Lot.It arrived and we devoured it. It was definitely one of the best pizzas we had eaten in a very long time indeed. I told the owner that I thought it tasted delicious, was fresh and juicy, and the base divine.Friendly staff, good solid and stable tables, and a pleasant shop. Highly recommend.

We popped in as we had been here before and loved it.To make things easy we ordered a couple of salads off the board. The cafe had 4 other tables going at the same time.After around 25 mins we enquired about our meals and were told they were next. We waited some more and then other tables were served.Again we enquired and were told they were "just about ready". With this we said we had to go (it had now been 45 mins). They said there had been a computer glich. We left a tad hungry

5 work colleagues and myself came here for dinner on a Tuesday night 31/10/17, the range of pizza was great and everyone enjoyed the meal they chose, the hospitality was the best I had experienced on the 2 week work trip and the food was well priced.

We called in here for a quick refreshment, but seeing the menu and the meals as they came out made me wish we were having lunch instead. Everything looked fabulous. The muffin I had was delicioso! Lovely outdoor seating with a playground for kiddies. Thoughtfully decked out inside - loved the use of old doors covered with glass as table tops. Service felt a little chaotic but it was quite a busy morning. Keen to go back and will definitely be booking ahead.

Delicious, traditional Italian style pizzas cooked in an authentic wood oven. Great wines and beers. Delicious desserts. Lovely friendly manager and efficient staff, although perhaps a bit too hasty to clear away plates and glasses!Very busy on a Saturday night, best to book ahead
