Reviewed By mrowe2653Stayed at the Quality Inn, Union City because my flight was canceled. The hotel is going through renovation, so I expected some dust. I was in room 222. The room had not been cleaned in months. There was dust, mold in the bathroom, mold around the HVAC. The toilet was loose. The seat needed to be replaced and the it needed to be bolted to the floor. It was cold in the room, but I didn't dare touch the unit. There was something over one of the beds that was either ketchup or blood, didn't get close enough to see. The bathroom was not clean. I used my clorox bleach wipes to clean it. Rooms were sold out in the Atlanta area, and I got the last room at this hotel. It was the worse Choice Hotel I have ever stayed in. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The worse part is that they didn't offer any type of discount or credit. All they could say was sorry and have a good day. Stay as far away from this place as possible.

Reviewed By CecePtrI checked in on a Weds about 430ish in the early morning and was greeted by such a nice sweet lady. She spoke so proper and respectful as later in the review you'll understand why I've mentioned it. I went to my room, early 2000 furniture but was very clean and smelled delightful. TV was old but clear picture and basic dish type cable with 4 movie channels and 1 cartoon channel. Towels could've been cleaner but I've stayed at Hampton Inn and received towels that had been washed but weren't so white. Slept well no bugs, no bed bugs so people must've made that up or they've changed. Breakfast in lobby your basic cold cereal and it was real fruit loops and cheerios, coffee which tasted FRESHLY made, and I saw juice didn't want any, and Sam's Club danish which was very fresh. Here's where I got confused at about 12:30 I go to get directions and there is a girl arguing with a customer in broken English her name according to maintenance guy was rekeeta. She was yelling and calling the guy broke which I assume meant he couldn't pay. However after talking to the maintenance guy she and her dad act like that with customers all the time. I was uneasy at that point because he works there why is he talking bad about them and why was she unprofessional and bad mouthing a customer who couldn't pay. I had already paid for the weekend so I went where I needed to be and ate with friends, got back about 10 and the nice girl Ann was back. I talked to her who assured me the "morning young lady and dad" don't normally act as the maintenance guy said. She was so kind I came down a couple times only during her night shift for directions or just convo. The hotel is okay no bugs, no drugs, and it is cared for but that rekeeta and maintenance guy is going to chase away people with their unprofessional actions. I hope the owner sees this and appreciates that Ann (night woman) she really convinced me not to leave. Here's a picture too of the room too.

Reviewed By G8821OYbenjaminmAs stated in the title, this hotel should be closed down either by Union City or the State of Georgia for its disgusting standards and for (what I assume are) the illegal activities that take place here. First, the whole hotel and parking lot smell like marijuana. Secondly, I would assume that this hotel is a hotbed for prostitution because the number of poorly dressed women in the parking lot and in the hotel, combined with some questionable men, would suggest prostitutes come there. Third, the amenities are terrible for the price you pay. The rooms are nothing like what is listed online and are infested with cockroaches. And the quality of the staff is less than desirable. Please save your money for a hotel that actually cares about your physical wellbeing than this garbage dump that calls itself a hotel!

The ABSOLUTE Worst.
Reviewed By OtherPeoplesMoneyI arrived late, after 1am. Hotel is In a seedy area. When I arrived. People lingering in parking lot People sleeping in cars in Parking Lot. Suspect this is a drug den / prostitute hotel. Key initially did not work. then door felt like someone was inside blocking door. Manager on duty came upstairs and kicked door for it to open. Room was hot and muggy with a sour smell. After turning on AC, found source of sour smell. 19" flat screen on wall. Reserved single king and received double queen. Was told that there are no singles available, but I would not be charged extra. Room had hair in sink, on floor and in shower. Bedding was old and stained. I requested late check out when I arrived but it was not in the system because they knocked several times and called room. This place was a treasure in 1972, but not much has been done as far as upgrades/maintenance since then. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. Hopefully I didn't bring home bedbugs.
