Things to do in Kololi
One of the best restaurants in Kololi. Good atmosfeer, friendly Staffordshire and very good kitchen. The place is perfect situated on 50 meters from the beach. Regulary live music from different artists. So a must try for everybody

Next to the big and popular Paradiso. Rather uncomfortable seating that would be more appropriate on the beach, unswept floors at 2.00pm. Self advertising as the cheapest drinks place in the area (by 5D) if they got cold Julbrew in. Say nothing about the lady manager who's style we found rather loud and abrasive. There are better cheap drinks bars with atmosphere and pulled pints further up the road.i

We ate here a couple of times on our holiday and the food was served very quickly and efficiently. Both occasions we had different choices and they were really nice and tasty. Would recommend for anyone in the area wanting a quick and relatively cheap dinner.

Bar On Palma Rima Road Kololi Gambia
This was our third visit to Gambia and we returned to Churchills where we spent a lot of time in the past. Unfortunately the food was disappointing and it somehow lacked atmosphere, not as we remembered. Sunday roast very poor roast potato's like leather.

A nice relaxing Beach Bar and Restaurant with free sunbeds and beach huts overlooking the Atlantic ocean.
Hard to imagine this spot was rave reviews five weeks ago. Worth the walk past the closed and closing Senegambia eating spots turn sharp right, you find Monkey Park on your left, avoid the ticket bumsters and a steepish road down to an unspoiled beach opening. Swiss Tavern on the left with a terrace overview of a very close sea front.Only drinks at time of our visit but well worth the walk away from the concrete jungle just up the road. Take a towel no beach chairs down here.

Woodies the Dutch bar and restaurant is located in Kololi Gambia. Woodies is a place what serves specialities from Holland and around. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. On Sundays we serve a special Sunday brunch with items from a Dutch breakfast.
A place run by Dutch. It offers a range of international and some traditional Dutch dishes (with a local twist). Friendly, helpful staff. Background music during the day, live music in the evenings. Near the end of the strip.

Came for breakfast. English breakfast was embarrassing. Arrived after 40 minutes, eggs fried to a crisp and two small bits of overfried bacon that was almost too salty to eat. Cheese omelette was passable but came with assortment of small fries that looked like they had been collected off yesterday's plates. I cut the chips up to stop them coming out again. Don't come here is my advice.

Probably the closest you will come to local food - they serve Domada, Benechin, Yassa - all given a European twist and served very well - also the Captain Fish with lime sauce is equally good - service is very friendly and good if not busy. The only downside - very loud live music comprising 90% drumming starts at about 9-ish - this may be attractive to some - but not if you have unimpaired hearing!!!
