Perfect for long stay and friendly staff
Reviewed By 492malidBooking for 8 nights in March 2022. Location is good. Free parking. Friendly staff And above all a good restaurant for lunch. Relax not mutch noice in this district. The breakfast was simple in beginning. Later came more variations but end at 10 am witch for vacation to early. Feel free and be like home is the motto. You can invite local friends for a lunch. The room is comfortable and the beds are good. Pool is clean and even your bed each Day cleaning. This hotel can be performed better after some little investigation like, uniforms, kassa and payment system.

Reviewed By Curiosity52595401871Pleasant and clean beach front hotel. Swiss Boutique is a 9 room Eco hotel, cleverly designed bij the Gambian owner and manager Sainy. Sainy and his friendly staff helped to make this a holiday to remember. The pool is cleaned daily by ‘Abliy’ a reliable, friendly, smiling coast’ Gambian. Back in ‘23!

Lovely surrounded gardens, with pool and Lake with fish. Relaxing listening and watching the different birds, or monkeys which come to visit sometimes. Staff Pa (the manger), Baye Fall and Albertina very helpful and friendly. Pa is available if you need a lift to main highway/beach area. Or its nice to walk you get to meet friendly locals. Its a nice quite area away but not too far from main tourist area. Travelled alone and felt safe staying here.

YELLOW APARTMENTS is a totally new, beautiful twin storey building with 4 self contained apartments for rent.The house is situated in Sanchaba, 1.5 km from Senegambia in a heaven of peace and tranquility, being only a few minutes walk to shops, restaurants and all other amenities, and a short stroll to the sandy beach.There is 700 metrE square garden.
A good taste of real Gambia
Reviewed By The SWe actually stayed here November 2019 but I was too late to leave a review at the time. I booked through Airbnb and was disappointed at first as the Apartments are further away from the beach than on the map. Saying that, we really enjoyed our walks to the beach from the apartments through the local neighbourhood's and generally got a taxi back. The apartments are in the area of Sanchaba, at the bottom of the market so there is plenty of hustle and bustle a stones throw away, plenty of local places to get some food too. Also plenty of taxis. I did give the kitchen and light switches a good bleach on our first day but after that we were happy with the standards of cleaning from the housekeeper. There were 2 double bedrooms (one was en-suite) and a twin room, all the beds were nice and comfy. The living room had a large 2 seater sofa and a table with 4 chairs. Outside was a lovely private garden/patio area to sit in and listen to the birds. The caretaker/security chap has a family and they live in the grounds, he is always round about but not too in your face. Lamin, the manager of yellow apartments popped by a few times and was at the end of the phone if ever we needed him. The local people are very friendly and welcoming especially once they get to know you. We would stay here again but I'd take decent ear plugs next time as the apartments are near a mosque add to that other "unique" sounds to the Gambia, you will appreciate your plugs!!

Voor de natuurliefhebber en vogelaars onder ons, is het een waar paradijs. De kamers zijn erg primitief, maar voldoen prima. Het personeel is fantastisch! Onwijs aardig en behulpzaam!

Restaurant closed during the entire stay, Bar open sometimes and especially without a fixed schedule, no water in the pool on arrival on October 27, 2021 and this until November 7, 2021. Badly cleaned apartments, dust everywhere, cobwebs, kitchen never cleaned except washing the floor, Sofa very uncomfortable and full of dust, only positive point is the quality of the mattress. The hotel was not ready to welcome people, construction work everywhere, dirt everywhere and a receptionist not up to welcoming people and above all not informing people of the condition or apologies for all the inconveniences
