Trying to find a good Chinese restaurant in France has been both a challenge and a mission, but, at last Wafu. Good service with a nice clean family environment. Great choice of meals and a very good Sushi selection also. One of the best desert buffets I have tasted also. I would highly recommend

This is the only restaurant in my local town I would recommend . Why? - Because it's good, wholesome food with several choices on each course of the 3 and 4 course menus. The food is typically French, with very generous portions. Menus start around 15 euros for 3 courses, and they don't "sting" you on the price of wine. House wine is perfectly acceptable too. They also have a children's menu, as well as a wide choice of pizzas. You can, of course order "Ã la carte" , but with such good prices and choices for 3 or 4 courses, why would you want to? There's also an English version of the menus for those not confident enough to understand and order from the French menus. We've eaten in lots of other restaurants, in this, our local town, and have paid more elsewhere, only to be very disappointed, in comparison with this place. The staff are friendly, too, and there's generally someone on duty who can speak English. If you decide to go, advisable to book, especially at weekends, and I advise an early reservation, as it gets very busy later, which may affect your quality of service.

A nice looking cafe spoiled by servers with dirty aprons and trousers. The towel with which they "dried" the glasses was filthy. They even brought a tray from the kitchen and put it on the bar to scrub. Could note at with gusto.

I loved my thin crust pizza, made with smoked canard, nuts and mushrooms! Fresh ingredients, and full of choices to please all tastes! It was hard tochoose my pizza amongst many interesting combinations. Perfect portions - I also had a beef carpaccio as appetizer - and all reasonably prized. I was delighted with the blend of fresh quality ingredients, the well crafted mix of flavors in a relaxed casual setting also including a tasteful offer of wines and champagne for varied budgets. At Normandy, I had a very pleasant food experience about an Italian flavor.

Blending happily seasonal flavors and traditionnal ingredients with an occasionnal dash of spice, the Chef Armand Malandain creates an original modern cuisine. The Belle Isle sur Risle Restaurant spreads from the victorian rotunda, with extensive views ov
Without wishing to impugn the sophistication of the charming town of Pont Audemer the Belle Isle Sur Risle restaurant is perhaps a surprising eatery to find in this small town. We were impressed pretty much by everything about it; the before dinner drinks we were offered in the lounge, the pleasant bright dining room we sat in overlooking the garden, the professionalism of the staff (and the pride the clearly had in the restaurant) and of course the food. A sensible menu provided a good choice and we had the veal and the fish followed by a pear dessert. All were quite superb. The friendly staff even offered to show us around the hotel the restaurant is in. A very pleasant experience all round.

Little place hidden in a small pedestrian street in Pont-Audemer, short menu but excellent food. We've had an incredibly good and oversized dinner. The cook is doing very well with fresh local products and the portions are extremely big (too big in my opinion). We had shells, and a superb hand cut tartare with a variety of vegetables. Unfortunately no way to taste a dessert, we were absolutely full. I'll get back to this place without even looking to trial another one.

We had lunch in this very obviously popular place as it was very full. It looked as if we weren't going to get seated until Monsieur Le Chef insisted that we were found a table. We are a fussy bunch and one of us isn't very adventurous when it come s to food. However even she was extremely happy with her pizza, which she insisted she wouldn't be able to finish, which she did. I had a seafood pasta with scallops and they were generous with them and the cream sauce was delicious. One other friend had carbonara which had the egg yolk in a half shell to mix in with the pasta. Thanks a lot for your Nice noteHappy you enjoyed this momentChristian

A lovely little spot that's actually attached to the church one of the walls IS the church wall. Has a family feel, very cosy in early December and with hearty French fare - gallettes stuffed with ham, cheese, mushrooms, potatoes. Yum. And very reasonable prices. All in all an entirely enjoyable dining experience

Contrary to other reviewers, we did not find special food here; but not really bad either. Our lunch started with good herrings and a questionable "tiramisu" of avocado and crab...it mostly was liquid tomato sauce. Then a big course of mussels: about 30% of them were small and dried (so, probably not too fresh); the others were ok, but we did not know where to put the empty shells...the waiter had not brought any empty dish for them and he did not come back until long, when it was too late to ask. The accompanying fries were partly good, partly under-cooked. Turbot fish in mushroom sauce with vegetables, was OK. The dessert: we had asked for a chocolate mousse and only at the end of the meal, the waiter informed us that it was still being prepared; when we asked back: "OK, how long do we have to wait?" he said that there was no way, we had to order something else... Anyway, we got very good strawberries with orange juice in exchange for it. Total price: 37 Euros.
