Highly recommended - quality accommodation with great balcony and view
Reviewed By jone92Arrived in Tomar and found the accommodation we had booked was pretty grotty we had to find somewhere to stay at short notice. Absolutely delighted we found this hotel which had availability and was central in Tomar. Booking direct they bettered the rate we could find online and when we asked to see the room before saying yes it was no problem and we were told with confidence that we would like the room. We certainly did. It had plenty of space and was finished to a very high standard and looked like it had been renovated recently. Had a kitchen area on our floor which was handy and a fridge and nespresso machine in the room. The crowning glory was the big terrace which had electric blinds which, when raised, revealed a fantastic view of the Templar Castle and convent - a real Wow! Would thoroughly recommend this place - superb and host very helpful.

Reviewed By annelW4401FAViemos passar duas noites em Tomar durante o fim de semana. Procuravamos um sitio calmo onde relaxar e estar fora cidade e encontramos o sitio perfeito. O quartos são pequeninos mas muito acolhedores, a dona do espaço foi muito querida e disponível. O pequeno almoço foi uma autentica maravilha, tudo feito na hora e respeitando as medidas de higiene e distancia devido à COVID19. Pãozinho feito na hora, fruta do jardim e um bolinho incrível. Adoramos!

Reviewed By John-Barbara31This was an old facility, in good repair. It was like staying at your grandma’s house. Restaurant was closed except for breakfast which was good. Room and bath were small but clean and comfortable. Convenient location for Convent of Christ (Knights Templar castle. This guest house was a great value.

Exceptional Place
Reviewed By wileyl2017The history of this B&B should be enough that everyone would want to stay here, but on top of that the hospitality is world class. We stayed in the main building and it was grand. We awoke to vineyard views and the serene countryside. Breakfast was awesome, and so good. They have fresh bread every day, along with an assortment of breakfast foods. If you can, walk the property, and ask about the history of the place. It turns out the place is loaded with history. A short drive from town, it is quiet, serene, and delightful. Also, ask if Bernardo is available for a tour. He has in-depth knowledge of the castle an is quiet entertaining. Well worth the effort if you can get him.

Casa das Flores is a family run B&B, set in a small rural village in Tomar. The bedrooms have balconys over looking the views of the countryside. The area is very quiet, ideal for walkers, birdwatching, fishing and bike riding. A small village with 3 cafes and a shop, and the train station of Fungalvaz only 5 mins walk, going to Lisbon and Porto daily. Evening meals served nightly at 7.00pm, cooked breakfast available. BBQ house and swimming pool in garden. Home grown veg and vegans and vegetarians catered for.
Excellent hosts
Reviewed By Caz CCarolyn and John were so welcoming - a real home from home. The whole house is really comfortable and spotlessly clean. We opted for the evening meal on three nights and the food was excellent. Breakfast was good too and they cater to all tastes. We will definitely be back.

If you are looking for a magnificent home in a quiet environment, with lush gardens and stunning views to spend a few days relaxing by the pool, then A Casa do Trovador is the right place for you. It is located on the hill overlooking the Albufeira do Castelo de Bode where you can bathe or enjoy water sports, or even just relax and revel in the beautiful scenery. The lake is a mere 2 km, so you can take a walk instead of using the car. There is a small nearby village called Serra de Tomar, where you can buy anything you need or just have a tasty meal at one of its restaurants. If you do not feel in the mood to leave the comforts of home, The Cas a do Trovador has an inviting swimming pool, sun loungers, hammocks and couches. There is also a grass football mini-camp at the top of the hill where you can have some fun with the kids. Inside the house you will find all the comforts of modern life. There are two large living rooms, a dining room and an indoor garden. The whole house has central heating, air conditioning and fireplaces for the cooler days. There are 4 double rooms, 2 twin room and quádruplo room. 6 bathroom. All rooms have wooden floors, air conditioning and TV. The 4 larger rooms can be equipped with an extra bed.

It did not matter what the question was, they were always there for you, absolutely GREAT and very much appreciated! If we are in this area once more, we definitely come back! The view from the room or pool is in one word: Magnificent! A good breakfast (or course it's different) but everything was there.We enjoyed also the area and the pool as well. It was very clean and that makes me feel happy!

Reviewed By vicky53cardiffWe stayed 2 nights over a weekend. The place was immaculately clean. Lovely welcome and helpful owner. Friendly staff at breakfast which had a good variety. Espresso coffee if required. Generous sized rooms and plenty of hot water at all times. Quiet area of town but easy walk to Centre. Hair dryer was available on request. Good WIFI. No lift but easy up to our first floor rooms.
