We are continually impressed by the food served at this restaurant. The staff are friendly and attentive, the service is prompt and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Love the sauces, fresh vegetables and tender meats used. The ginger chicken wing satay is fantastic and the massama lamb is tender and tasty. Will continue to visit here for my occasional Thai meal.

We had driven for 10 hours before arriving at our hotel and didn't feel like going out for dinner nor did we feel like a full dinner at a restaurant. This restaurant was in the same building as our hotel. We ordered a variety of entres ( about 5 dishes) and rice. It took longer than we thought it should but realised that our dishes were made fresh and it tasted like it.

We ate here with friends one night while in Port Macquarie, and our meal was great. We ordered a variety of dishes so that we could all have a taste of the different dishes. The service was excellent and meals were quick.

This is mainly a take-away but has some eat-in capabilities. It is good authentic Thai food.They have lunch specials starting from $9 Monday to Friday (11am - 2:30pm)and are open for dinner 7 nights from 5pm until 9pm.New owners from 8/5/2012.

The best thai in Port Macquarie. This is our go-to takeaway and it never disappoints! the food is always hot, extremely fresh and delicious! The beef massaman is to die for! melt in your mouth beef swimming in a creamy and decadent curry sauce. Highly recommend and we will keep returning for more!

We were staying in the nearby Breakway park and the Northpoint Thai was right next door. My Pad Thai was really good with plenty of chicken and nice flavours. My family enjoyed their curries and the chicken wings. BYO made this an affordable dinner out in a good location in town.

Decided to eat at this restaurant as we were just walking by. It was mid week and the restaurant was packed. Everyone was having a great time. The atmosphere was awesome. Staff were so very friendly and helpful. Service with a smile. The meals came out quite fast. Every meal we ordered tasted amazing. So much flavour. The smells coming from the kitchen was amazing. The prices were so cheap too. Will definitely eat here again on our return journey home. Thanks for a great meal.

The Mekong has great food and a reasonable location with a nice view of the river. My only major criticism would be that floor staff should be a little more attentive as you can wait a while to get anybodies attention!

Had dinner tonight with my wife, our two boys, my Aunt & Uncle who live locally. The service was excellent, polite, friendly and attentive. The food is absolutely delicious. We all had starters, tasty and more than plentiful..... our mains were extremely good, many different tastes, beautifully cooked, we finished everything. Very good value, we will be returning. You really MUST try The Blue Whale
