Durama Japanese Restaurant and Bar is almost directly opposite the Gaisano Mactan Island Mall on the Quezon National Highway.It has a wide range of Japanese dishes, including sushi and sashimi, but we both settled on the roast pork noodle soup.The soups came in large bowls with generous lashings of sliced roast pork, noodles, and half a hard boiled egg.The broth was a little bland, but we spiced it up with some chili paste that was on the table.Service was quick and friendly, but do they really have to dress Filipina girls in those silly make-believe Japanese schoolgirl uniforms, with skirts so short that if they were any shorter the girls would be arrested for indecent exposure.

This is an amazing pizza buffet in Mandaue City! It's Japanese themed but they serve Pizza, lechon, vegetables, rice, a filipino dish or two, and unlimited tea in their buffet. A buffet for two only costs $8.50 us dollars. It is only for lunch and not dinner.

For good Japanese food and the most polite and helpful staff I've ever seen. Try Oiran in Lapu Lapu. Everyone else that were there were Japanese which speaks for itself. The food was great the service enjoyable. I wish more restaurants in Phil's was like that!

Food is better compared to your typical go-to Jap resto. The indoor Koi pond is a plus for kids and they offer complimentary hot and cold tea. The free shuttle service is another good thing. Seafood ramen is really good and tempura is really good. The staff are all nice and friendly.

Excellent sushi, fast service, cozy place, and a good menu that is helpful for non-natives of Japanese cuisines, like us two Indians!The staff could be a little more useful, I reckon. They weren't too helpful with respect to helping us choose sushi and didn't help much with the drinks either (just pointing us to the more expensive ones without saying what they were!)The crab-based sushi, if I recall correctly, was outstanding.
