We spent 5 nights at this camping site and it was lovely. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The Showers/Toilets are clean. We loved the short walk to the beach in the mornings. The door to the backyard/ to go to the beach is open from 9-19,before/after that you need to go through the main entrance.

The lady on reception was extremely helpful and friendly. There are no marked out pitches so it made it easy for us to park up our large outfit: 8.5m long Fifth Wheeler with Toyota Hilux truck. Nice easy access into campsite. We don't need to use on site ablutions, but they looked very clean. Unfortunately Wifi is only available at the bar which I always find a pain. There is a bus stop right outside the gates which takes you into the pretty town of Coimbra: €1.60 per person one way. Brilliant value. What brings down our rating for this campsite is the restaurant. Service was very unfriendly and our food was cold. Had choice of just fish or chicken with a starter of pea soup. This was tasty but only lukewarm. I opted for the cod, potatoes and spinach. My husband had the roast chicken with rice. Both of our meals were cold, which was a shame. If it had been served hot both meals would have been enjoyable.

Very helpful staff and I'm sure during high season this place rocks! I was there off season and it was still nice enough. Large area for tents, bathrooms are clean and supply toilet paper and the toilets have seats - something of a luxury in Portuguese campsites

We are a small yurt camp that offers an exotic safari type experience in one of our two comfortable and stylish yurts. Set on south facing terraces, on the edge of woodland, the calls of nearby dear and owls can be heard often while gazing into the stars from the veranda of your yurts - breathe deep and let go! Licence number 91145/AL
Helped by a dry, sunny weather, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the yurt. Were it to rain the experience might be spoiled by mud in the unkept ground surrounding it and the danger associated with an access through a very rough stone path/steps which will surely become very slippery. The facilities are ok, but seem to have seen better days and to have been cleaner...once. Peace and quiet galore, could be much improved with very little effort. Nice try, though and good location!

Back to the past of Portugal's best features: water and hospitality. In Termas-da-Azenha is an old spa resort to see how people took baths, cured and relaxed in the previous centuries. Portugal is known for its waters, this one cures skin problems. We made a holiday village, with 4 houses and a B&B, with a lot of extras. A pool with terraces around, decorated with lots of big mosaics; pingpong, pool and foossball, and last but not least: a Fancy Dressing Room. We're the first and only B&B&B in the world: Bed & Breakfast & Bathrobes. We design and make beautiful bathrobes for everybody, made by a portuguese seemstress. Termas-da-Azenha lies in the middle of the fields and hilly forests, not far from several beaches. Coimbra is 45 minutes away. We organise theme weeks, like "Single women of 45+" & "Single parent holidays".
Loved it! Sun, nice people, beach just 15 min away, shopping, Portugees wine and cosy family feel. Everything you need to get away and relax. We were here From 30th of April until 7th of May. 25 degrees with a little brees everyday.

One of the best campsites in Portugal. Well maintained and nicely located. Very friendly and helpful staff. I also liked it because it was an easy walk into town (go the back way, past the little church, down the hill to the bridge).
