Right next to our hotel, (The Grand Hotel Suisse-Majestic), we found the Angle's Bar a very pleasant and not expensive place to eat and have a cool drink. Great staff and food.

After our trip we had our dinner at this place which is situated adjacent to the lake. Nice service and all the foods which we ordered were par excellent. We had pumpkin soup and pesto pasta while kids had the Tartares (both of them on menu) was good. Nice place to stop by and relax.

Lots to offer from bar to fine dining. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We were out for some dinner during an intermission at the Jazz Festival and they were very attentive with the service and tastefully prepared food. Would highly recommend

I have previously submitted 5 reviews on this small restaurant giving it high praise. It used to be a real timewarp, a bit dark and attracting "interesting" clientele because it is also a betting shop. The value, though, used to be outstanding.Unfortunately the new owners have hugely increased the prices. Whilst they have also smartened the place up, the main courses are the same prices as other, much smarter restaurants in Montreux. The regular local customers seem to have disappeared.What a pity. I will miss my visits here.

Great terrace, quiet and calm from the busy main road. Authentic pizzas by Italian chef who is a master, quite a show flipping pizzas. Try the buffala & limoncello is home-made! Reasonable price, without frills for a quick fix. Small place to not feel touristic. Closed on Mondays.

We took a seat outside at 11:05.They open up at 11:00. 5 other people were sitting outside an already drinking coffee.After 5 minutes my wife went inside to ask if it is kind of selfservice or order at the bar or something like that. She was then asked what she wants in a very unpolite way and was told that we can not eat something because the kitchen closes at 11:30. Are you kidding!? They open up at 11:00 and the kitchen closes at 11:30?!We will never visit this place anymore.Dear Sir,Thank you for your review.Unfortunately there has been a huge misunderstanding of your wife, which was probably because of the language barriers.She has indeed come inside after waiting for 5 minutes to ask ironically if it was self service. Our professional waitress then kindly asked her what she could help her with. Our restaurant opens at 08h30 in the morning for coffee but the kitchen only opens at 11h30 and is continuously open until 22h00.The opening hours of the restaurant can be found on the door, windows and online.We are sorry for your experience but we find your comments and review very unfair.Best regards,The Direction

Stopped at Funky Claude's for only a late night drink and to see the place. Juice non alcoholic drink (name=Drum) and Gin / Tonic / juice drink (name = Billy Idol) cost was 45 swiss franks. A little expensive, but this is a famous place and if you want in you need to pay. After reading the excellent reviews for this pub, we decided to try it out. Nice casual pub with many draft beer choices. Burgers, fish & chips, chicken tandoori! Wide variety of food and very relaxed! Breakfast all day!Beautiful lake view. This place is a big winner.
