Reviewed By K8433CEchristinehHighly recommend Hotel Forster after enjoying five wonderful nights in a spa suite. The management and staff are so welcoming, thoughtful and helpful. The suite was immaculately clean and fresh on arrival and it was an absolute delight to stay there.

The Golden Sands Motor Inn at Forster is the place to stay for holidays, weekends away, and business. There are 24 motel rooms varying from budget double, queen standard and twin, premium and twin premium, family, and wheelchair to two three bedroom self contained apartments. We are a minutes walk to the beach/lake and the same to shops, cafes, and restaurants as well as an on site restaurant, Blue Water Restaurant, International Cuisine. All motel rooms have Austar, airconditioning, free wireless internet, and all expected amenities.The three bedroom units are large with lock up garages.We are the friendly motel in the heart of Forster.

Reviewed By FredWilliamsonThe room was adequately sized and with the normal range of facilities. I was upgraded to a family suite. Clean and tidy. Not so quiet because of main road outside my window. Conveniently located near shopping centre, eateries, etc. Pleasant staff. I would stay here again.

Welcome to Forster Motor Inn. We are a 3 1/2 star, AAA rated property. We offer 28 clean and comfortable rooms at great prices.We have pet friendly and disable friendly rooms. Forster Motor Inn is perfect for families and couples in need of a holiday, break or stopover on a budget. Located within a five minute walk to Wallis Lake, the great beach and the centre of town. Our Rooms are air-conditioned with tea/coffee making facilities, TV, microwave, small fridge, toaster, ironing board and iron, hairdryers , free access to recently renovated outdoor pool, communal BBQ, free WiFi and free car parking. Too good for the price!!
Good location, affordable and clean but..........
Reviewed By Ronith HGreat place to stay, affordable, comfortable, clean, good service, poor maintenance at bathrooms. Disabled, children and pets welcome. kitchenet, pool, BBQ, no laundry in site but coin-public isn't far. It's allowed to smoke outside the rooms but the smoke gets thru the windows to the other rooms-must designate a place for smokers. There was a misunderstanding with a payment that was collected twice, only when I called it was clarified that the issue is known and they will make a refund but still, it was a pity that they weren't ahead of time with the information, even though everything worked out at the end. I would also like to express the service experience of the room service who at an early hour came and knock aggressively on the doors to wake up the guest for clarification on their duty to leave the room at a certain time.

Reviewed By KevinB3166Stayed here last night on a drive north. Motel is well situated and rooms very well maintained - Bowling Club is right next door which was very convenient - an easy 15 minute walk to the local shops and down to the river - highly recommend

Reviewed By Philby1974My family stayed at Bella vista during the floodings. We were unable to carry on our journey up to Queensland . The customer service was absolutely amazing . We were so well looked after . They blocked off the room for us and let us use it as long as we needed. They guided us to the property over the phone when some of the roads were blocked off. And also helped out with giving us information on a medical centre for a last minute appointment for one of us to see a doctor . Extremely impressed with the level of service and helpfulness . Would recommend them 100 percent and definitely stay again

Reviewed By colourfuldistractionI was travelling solo earlier this month and needed to book in somewhere in Forster at the last minute for a few days. After scouring around town, I decided on the Island Palms. I am so glad I did. Gael's friendly greeting immediately made me feel at home. My room (7) was super clean, nicely renovated, well maintained and the bed was sooooooo comfy. Parking was a breeze and I had a lovely little porch to enjoy the outdoors when not out exploring all the cool places that Gael kindly recommended. Everything about my stay was perfect and it didn't break the bank. Thanks heaps to Gael and her team! If I was to make one suggestion for the hosts...it would be to update the vanity benchtop in the bathroom just to finish off the modern look and feel. Certainly didn't impact on my stay though.
