Wonderful hotel
Reviewed By Susan RThe hotel has some age, but I believe that the owners are working on some updating. The hotel grounds are lovely to walk around. I don't believe that I've ever have stayed at a hotel in this price range that had such a wonderful outside area to spend time in! The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable.

A quiet jewel that resides near the intersection of 35 & 36, Cameron Days Inn makes the perfect stopping point for weary travelers. With their accomodating service, well stocked breakfast, clean rooms and unmatched level of commitment to their customers needs, it's no wonder Cameron Days Inn is one of the best reviewed hotels in Cameron. Their new salt water/minimal chlorine pool makes for a beautiful centerpiece to their already well-maintained lobby. The parking lot was very recently remodeled which makes for a very inviting entrance to one of the already finest looking hotels in town. Once inside, the front desk is second to none at making you feel right at home. In the rooms you'll find new beds, fresh paint and a quiet atmosphere that makes for a great night's sleep. Fridges and microwaves come standard in every room and at a practically unmatched price. In short, don't miss this one!

Reviewed By suegL4524ZOWe stayed here when moving from Colorado to Pennsylvania, reserving 2 rooms by phone so they would be adjacent. Immediately upon entering one room, we noticed the garbage had not been removed, nor the minifridge cleaned out. The bed was also missing a bedspread and the room was very warm. The front desk manager came to the room and removed the garbage, but assured me the room had been serviced, noting the bed was tucked in. He did mention that only 1 of the 4 housekeepers came to work that day. The next morning I mentioned the situation to the daytime front desk attendent and jokingly said "I hope I slept on clean sheets". His response was "our washer is broken". Yuck... The breakfast buffet was lacking and you had to get there by 630am to score bananas or yougurt, as they stocked it once and never replenished. And the "sparkling salt water pool off the lobby" - it was a construction zone with a locked door. Wish we had stayed at the Red Roof....

great place but missing the red roof
Reviewed By Candy SHad a nice handicapped room complete with walk in shower. Was missing a comfy chair to sit in and a table. Very clean though and breakfast was good even with waffle machine. Lady was very nice and let us park in a nice spot with our pickup towing a tractor. Felt very secure there.

Gas/fast food/grocery stores all with in walking distance, but rooms are far enough away from road that you don’t hear the traffic. We arrived very, very late and were exhausted after a very long drive. Owner went above & beyond to make sure he kept a room for us, to check us in quickly & into a room that would work best for us (seeing as we had 2 dogs with us) so we could get some rest. Everyone is super friendly, the rooms clean and shower got nice and hot. The front gazebo is wonderful to sit & rest & a nice big lawn/area to walk pets. Smoking & non-smoking rooms available & numerous rooms are on ground level, which is definitely a plus if you have dogs to take in & out! Parking lot is a good size & easy to access from both sides. Owners are watchful & take good care of the property; felt very safe.

Reviewed By Pam FMy husband and I were going to Hamilton, Missouri to visit some quilt shops. We picked this hotel to stay at because of the good reviews. It’s an older hotel but that didn’t scare us away. I noticed an odour when we walked into the hotel but thought it must be from the pool, so didn’t let that bother me. After checking in and going to our room my husband and I couldn’t believe the horrible smell in our room. It smelled like a dogs kennel!! We debated whether to complain to the front desk but decided to just stay since we were so tired. We never did get used to the smell and wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
