As others have said, the location is beautiful and one can make lovely walks from Le Hourdel, above all to Saint Valery sur Somme - 7 kms each way, on foot. I suggest you start from Le Hourdel, walk to St Valery, eat there and return the same way. The bar "La Point du Hourdel" is OK for a beer or coffee, I would say and is pretty typical, but I wouldn't eat there after, on my first visit a few weeks ago, I saw who I presumed to be the lady owner, help herself to a dish of ice cream (from the dishes stacked up for customer use) and, when she had finished, she put the dish on the floor for her dog to lick and finish up. The dog also seems to have freedom to walk the kitchen whenever it likes. I'm afraid, whatever the reviews on the food, that is more than enough to put me off.

We have eaten here many times over a few years, and have always found it to be good value and consistent. The prawn starter was tasty. The mussels were a bit disappointing, but this could have been the time of the year. Generally this is a solid choice and better than others in the port area.

Went with friends. Service cheerful, pleasant room, had plentiful plate of crevettes and bulots. Nicely served. Mains were moules, Bar and other fish. Desserts predictable profiteroles, tart tatin, Tira misu, etc, could have been a bit more imaginative but perfectly fine.

We were all craving a really good fresh salad and this spot came up with the goods. It was market day and we had pushed our luck and not booked but they soon seated us. The service was really quick.

We sat alfresco for an apéritif. No one else was there - a Friday evening at 19h00! - so it was very unatmospheric. It only served two types of draught beer and the wine was average. We decided not to eat here. Staff were surly and the menu didn't look particularly appealing. Many other nicer bistros in the town.
