My gf treated me to Thai cuisine at the Lemon Grass Restaurant in Lacey for my birthday. Arrived around 7 pm on a Monday and we were seated right away. Our server, Lisa, was the best and we loved her! It wasn't that busy so our food arrived pretty quickly. We ordered four dishes; Thai Fried Rice w/Chicken, Larb Salad (Ground Chicken), Crispy Egg Noodles (Chicken), and Heaven Beef. The Heaven Beef was our favorite; tender top sirloin marinated beef. Portions were more than enough for two people. We ended up taking about half of it home and had it the next day for lunch. The Thai Fried Rice was ok, we had the Eurasian Fried Rice on a previous visit and that was really good! This is one of the better Thai restaurants in our area and will return again for sure.

Eat here if you have time to spare. The waitstaff is in no hurry. The restaurant atmosphere is of mid-diner quality, with a refrigerator accenting the dining room. Ants decorate The floor, in their business transiting fashion. The dishes came out of the kitchen temp hot, but the accompanying rice was cold. The taste was average (nothing to exclaim here).

Everyone around me was inquiring as to the seasonings. Very fresh, very flavorful, healthy offerings. Paint the bathroom doors so as to give them a fresh appearance as the rest of the place. Prompt and special wait staff, extensive menu, food comes out hot. Reasonably priced. I recommend a big bowl of their soups.

I ate here on the advice of the desk clerk of my hotel. Rock solid food at a good price. Definitely not fancy, but good eats.

Been dining here with my husband for about 8 years. The restaurant is very large, with multiple rooms. Large parties gravitate to the large rear room. The restaurant buffet is huge. Very popular with military families as so close to Lewis-McCord. We only visit about four time a year. They used to have a fantastic shushi chef. This has mostly been replaced with a Mongolian barbecue. Obviously much cheaper to produce than shushi. On our last couple of visits, we noticed many formerly regular dishes missing, in particular the duck, which I loved. Lobster and crab dishes mostly fried rather than steamed (exception snow crab) so difficult to separate shells from contents. Also trays of food not replenished with any frequency, so long wait for fresh trays to be brought out. And in my personal opinion, holding temperatures not as hot as they should be. Having said this, we have always found the staff friendly and attentive. Donât know if quality has gone down from change of ownership, or just cutting corners to save money.

This tiny Chinese=Thai restaurant is family-owned, spotlessly clean, with great food cooked to order. And CHEAP!
Now THIS is fresh and tasty Chinese food. We went for the combo that included Wonton soup and 3 handmade appetizers (egg roll, dumping and some other delicious item) and we shared beef and broccoli, and Schezuan Beef. Rice is also served with this meal. Good portions and can I say Fresh and Tasy again? Dee-lish!

Stopped in for dinner. On long road trip so I always steer away from typical road food if at all possible. Pleasant hostess and server, quick service, no alcohol available. Selected the dinner bento of teri steak and tempura but the obscenely huge amount of teri steak smothered with sauce, tempura dough was thick and heavy, side of sushi had no seasoning in the sushi rice, reflecting non authentic, non Japanese sushi which reduces taste of a sushi roll to simply rice and whatever, no depth. Lots of folks that rated this place high apparently are not particular about food quality nor authenticity (most âJapaneseâ themed places out there are not so my expectations were low). Okay for the masses but it was a bit of punishment.
