Stopped in for dinner. On long road trip so I always steer away from typical road food if at all possible. Pleasant hostess and server, quick service, no alcohol available. Selected the dinner bento of teri steak and tempura but the obscenely huge amount of teri steak smothered with sauce, tempura dough was thick and heavy, side of sushi had no seasoning in the sushi rice, reflecting non authentic, non Japanese sushi which reduces taste of a sushi roll to simply rice and whatever, no depth. Lots of folks that rated this place high apparently are not particular about food quality nor authenticity (most âJapaneseâ themed places out there are not so my expectations were low). Okay for the masses but it was a bit of punishment.

Been dining here with my husband for about 8 years. The restaurant is very large, with multiple rooms. Large parties gravitate to the large rear room. The restaurant buffet is huge. Very popular with military families as so close to Lewis-McCord. We only visit about four time a year. They used to have a fantastic shushi chef. This has mostly been replaced with a Mongolian barbecue. Obviously much cheaper to produce than shushi. On our last couple of visits, we noticed many formerly regular dishes missing, in particular the duck, which I loved. Lobster and crab dishes mostly fried rather than steamed (exception snow crab) so difficult to separate shells from contents. Also trays of food not replenished with any frequency, so long wait for fresh trays to be brought out. And in my personal opinion, holding temperatures not as hot as they should be. Having said this, we have always found the staff friendly and attentive. Donât know if quality has gone down from change of ownership, or just cutting corners to save money.

Red Windâs Seafood Restaurant is always serving fresh Native-caught local fish. Strong believers in sourcing ingredients from nearby farms and fellow Native tribes, the Seafood Restaurant boasts ingredients that are grown with integrity. Prepared with âA
Our favorite restaurant, this was the first time my wife ordered and the chef recommend her choice of steaming was not going to be the best, he would do it but didn't recommend it for this type fish [swordfish]. He was right she got blackened and wow. Our server was Roque and he is a very friendly knowledgeable professional guy. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. We go here for the restaurant and it just happens to be at a casino instead of the other way around. You can go to the buffet and get more food for the same price but it comes down to quality or quantity, I choose quality, and we still leave with a doggy bag.Hello and thank you for such a positive review about the Red Wind's Seafood Restaurant. Your comments have been forwarded to Roque's manager so he can get the recognition he deserves. We are so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed the food and service and it shows that our efforts here are making a difference for our valued guests. We do hope you dine with us again soon.
