I have eaten here twice so far and have enjoyed it very much. They have a very good sushi menu plus curries etc. The price is reasonable for the quality of food. Spotlessly clean everywhere, which always gives me confidence in the food.

Good old fashioned curry, really friendly owner, been about 8 times. Setting could be better, but the owner is trying to work hard on getting this improved. Had a mixture of different curries and even asked for variations of the menu, which was no problem. Excellent value for money.

Refreshingly honest staff told us that we had over ordered, they were right, the portions are huge and 1 rice and 1 Nan was ample for 2 people to share ( unlike UK portions ). The lamb madras and prawn madras were magnificent and the meat quality was superb. The heat level was perfect and the tastes were authentic Indian . Wonderful hosts.Complimentary poppadoms and port were a bonus. Exceedingly good value for money.

Lovely little place with nice outside space for the summer too. Food was fresh and delicious. Not too expensive either. Staff were very helpful and friendly and service was excellent. Only let down was no Sake by the bottle chilled, but wine was a good alternative. Definitely will be back.

A return visit on a very hot summers night. Always greeted with a smile and although the restaurant was not packed there was a continual turn over of customers. We love it because everything is always cooked fresh. We will be back.

We often stay in the San Bras de Alportel area and on a Monday night the Marajah Patiala restaurant is one of the few good eating houses open. It's very easy walking distance of the centre and parking is easy to find. Our food was delicious, hot, spiced to our different tastes and made to order. As with our first visit the service is very friendly. If you are interested in cricket do have a look at the photos at the back of the restaurant!

This is our second year of coming here and this time we came for lunch and dinner. The customer service is excellent, they even remembered us from last year. The food is tasty and you get good sized portions. Nothing is ever to much trouble for the lads and if you fancy something a little bit different they will always aim to please. I like my curries dry so they did it.We will return again next year.
