How this restaurant is not in the top 10 in Carvoeiro is beyond me because the service and food are out of this world, most probably because it used to be called Biffe until a new owner bought it and its the appearance from the road doesnât help and the name doesnât exactly slip off the tongue but please donât be put off by that because if you like fish then order the grilled mixed fish with potatoes and vegetables itâs absolutely amazing for â¬15 !! or the monkfish and rice - fantastic flavours, itâs a sister restaurant to âA Galeâ across the road so that speaks for itself. This restaurant deserves a better rating than TA give it but itâs up the customers and reviewers to give it the rating it deserves. Just try it. The fish grill consisted of tuna steak,salmon,scallop, codfish, King Prawn and langostino served with potatoes and vegetables Thank you so very much.....Your comment make me so happy This is why I love my job. This was a nice traditional style buffet with lots of local dishes. Iâm a big fan of table carving and they came round with the meat fairly quickly without too much of a wait between meats which was great!. Overall I really enjoyed eating here and trying some dishes that Iâd never had before. Tip: Wear baggy clothes because you will want to eat everything!

We dined at Humbertos in June 2018, the food was amazing, fillet steak was perfect and sides were to die for. We returned to Praia da Rocha in October 2018 to find the restaurant was under refurbishment and disappointed we couldnât dine there. Our next visit to Praia da Rocha was June 2019, we were looking forward to dining at Humberto's, what a disappointment, the restaurant had been refurbished with an open kitchen, good for any diner, we could see food being cooked. We are a family of seven, the three children had burgers, they were okay nothing special! Two of the adults had chicken piri piri which consisted of two very small overcooked pieces of chicken and a boat load of chips and a spoonful of pickled cabbage, so disappointing and inedible. The other two adults had fillet steak served with chips and a portion of pickled cabbage, the steak was adequate but the accompaniments were not good. The cost was £92, not a good experience, such a shame the restaurant has not changed for the better. We were half board at our hotel and ditched our evening meal to go to Humbertoâs, Big mistake!

Friendly welcome unrushed experience. Waiter helped us choose a lovely local red. The food was very well cooked and full of flavour. We had a chateaubriand, duck and veggie pasta, all were delicious. Desserts were good too. Service excellent as well. Wouldnât even say it was that expensive averaging 30 euros each.
