The Garret House provides breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, pizza and a bakery in the Maggie Valley, NC area.
My husband and I enjoyed brunch at The Garrett House yesterday (Sunday, July 21, 2019). We went based on Trip Advisor reviews. We were totally blown away by friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service, delicious food, and lovely surroundings. My husband actually said that the chicken salad was the BEST he's had IN HIS LIFE. I feel the same way about the pimento cheese. The french toast made with cinnamon raisin bread was delicious! The fruit was fresh and at the peak of perfection. We have no negative thoughts at all about this great addition to the food scene in Maggie Valley, North Carolina! The bakery is fantastic. We carried out some pastries. NOT disappointed!! Delicious. We're here for one week, and we plan to go back! We want to try the pizza and pasta.

Arrived at our cabin and didn't feel like driving back down the mountain for groceries, so we ordered delivery from Maggie Valley Pizzeria. Outstanding pizza with timely delivery! Possibly the best takeout pizza I've ever had. The Maggie Valley Special was "off the hook". We'll definitely patronize them again if in the area. If you live here, you're lucky to have this pizza available.

My daughter and I dined here this evening and Michael was our server. He could not have been more helpful, kind or efficient. We split a manicotti and also enjoyed some ministrone soup and salad with the best made-from-scratch ranch dressing we've ever had. In fact, everything was made-from scratch from the dressing, the croutons on the salad (and in the soup), the soup itself, and of course the manicotti. Oops; forgot the bread which was also great! We also enjoyed the interior decor as it was quite authentic and typical of real Italian restaurants. It is in a little strip mall right on Soco but do not let that deter you from going; I cannot say enough about this little gem and we will be back at least once during this trip (I heard that the pizza was wonderful so we will probably try that next).

Burger & Pizza Restaurant
We went here the first time because my daughter needs gluten free dining and we heard the owner did also. They make great gluten free hush puppies. The food is good and the service is pleasant.

Stopped in for a quick bite, decided on the #1 Maggie Valley special pizza....basically an everything pizza. Very cheesy and delicious, crust is medium but cooked in a brick oven so delicious and chewy. Beer was cold, service great and a tiki bar outside as well.

Several locals recommended that we go to Frankieâs for dinner. They were right!! The food and drink selections are excellent. The Italian dishes are very traditional and tasty. The fried calamari was very good and the garlic flat bread starter is a must! Their wine selection is good and very reasonably priced. When in Maggie Valley, Frankieâs is a great dinner restaurant choice!
