Set in the corner of a strip mall with mostly ethnic grocery stores and restaurants. De Campana Mexican restaurant has loads of items as part of its interior decoration, mostly items from decades ago like Radios, Toys and other artifacts (if that is your thing). It was rather dark, even though it was 5:00 pm and quite light outside when I visited. The Chips and Salsa were quite good. Salsa was fresh and just the right amount of spiciness. I ordered the Carne Asada meal which can be cooked per your choice. The portions sizes are rather large. It comes with a Salad. So be sure and bring a good appetite. The meat was tasty and seasoned well, the refried beans that came with it were tasty as well. Service was friendly and attentive. The place was empty when I walked in, but in about 30 minutes or so it was relatively filled up. Good choice for Mexican food if you are in the area.

I rarely order Mexican food out but I had a taste for tacos today. I was there in the late afternoon so there was no other customers. The restaurant was very clean and orderly. They have a large menu board and the employee was very helpful in answering my questions. He suggested the taco al pastor and I'm glad he did. I bought the al pastor taco and a fish taco. I enjoyed them both. I will return.

The sevice is horrible unless the owner is there, increasingly he was not. The food is fairly bland, no seasoning what so ever on meat, rice or beans. I would rather go up to North Ave.

They have non seafood options for those not keen on seafood and plenty of Mexican style seafood to choose from. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and they were busy- I ordered fajitas and had to ask for tortillas to be brought to the table but other than that the service was quick and the food was good.

We really enjoyed this restaurant. I expected from all the reviews that the place would be more ethnic. The food is extremely good. I had three tacos:poblano, mole chicken, and shrimp. They were very good. Other meals at table were: enchiladas and taco dinner. Everyone said they would definitely come back. Our server nicknamed "Tequila" was very nice, and very efficient. She was the only server in there but handled everything well. Price are good. Fun of course because of the BYOB. But music was not Mexican, they played alot of Fleetwood Mac, love that group so I was fine with it. Just found it curious that there was not more of a mexican flare.Still-love this place, cant wait to go back!!!
