We went for lunch today, not disappointed! It's only been open 4 weeks, staff was wonderful. 3 different areas to dine in, 2 inside and 1 outside. Many choices for pizza,my wife got the caprice salad with chicken. I got the margarita pizza, both were excellent. Many different things on menu. Good selection of beer, many local. Thanks Nate for taking time to talk to us at our table. Looking forward to next time.
The Largest Selection of Meat Anywhere, with great Lunch options like pizza, calzones, wings, fried chicken, sandwiches and a salad bar.
First, I'm surprised that there aren't more reviews for this place because it's very popular in the area. Generally, most people love the quality of meats. The place is still a little pricey and the rewards program is terrible (points expire way too early), but the marinated meats are really good, along with their hot to-go meals and prepared items. I just discovered that their pizza is great -- almost comparable to Boston's North End, especially the plain cheese. You get a huge slice (which is like two normal ones) for $2.50. I do wish they would update their rewards program to make it worthwhile.

Wait persons were welcoming, warm, pleasant and efficient.Food was very good though not classic Italian. BUT noise level made conversation impossible. Choice of music (for our ears) was primitive, with unintelligible lyrics, sounding like persons in death throes...destroying the entire dining experience.AND the manager (âLaurieâ), to whom we complained, was condescending although we were very impressed by her showing us how her computer could control the sound level. Too late, however to make the four of us want to return.

This restaurant's staff worked like a well-oiled machine. We found the restaurant a little too noisy....which is unusual for us to comment on. The food was average for an Italian restaurant. We probably won't return in light of all the great restaurants in this area.

You can call them gyro, grinder or subs. This place's main product is an Italian meat version. The main version is great but I found it to have more limited options. Main item is one of the best I have had but I prefer other items more.

Massimoâs is at the top of our list of restaurants in Portsmouth, and thatâs saying something, given the many, many restaurants in the area.Massimo, the owner, is a gracious host and his staff is well prepared to offer assistance and advice. The menu offers an impressive range of dishes and changes regularly enough to avoid becoming stale. Every dish that we have tried over five or six visits has been exceptional.
