The restaurant is small, with two distinct areas. Most people concentrate around the bar, where tapas are served.The quality of the food is very good, and the pricing is very reasonable. I tasted a sashimi that was wonderful. However, I found the slices thinner that those you may be served in a traditional sushi bar.As negative points to improve, the waiting time was too long. I think that this is due to the fact that there is only one person preparing the sushis and sashimis, but definitively there is room for improvement here.Hello Jose L.Thanks for your score and your critic.We love your thoughts about our food, and, as we already announced, we are serving no more tapas from March in order to have a better service in the kitchen. The place looks very nice but not vegetarian friendly .When I return my dish almost full because it wasn't good, they still charged the full price of the dish, 11⬠for vegetarian pad Thai which is also not cheap like they describe the place.We are sorry for the inconvenience. Weâve been traveling for three months in Spain and Portugal and we were longing for affordable but different - this was a great place! Great burgers and fries, homemade pizza and nachos! Peter even made us some great margaritas from scratch! Donât expect things to taste exactly like the American equivalents but it was all even better. We had a hard time not getting the basmati rice and curry dish...so many things to choose from. Marta is a wonderful cook and Peter a great bartender. We met a few locals there as well and had good conversation eating and drinking at the bar. There is a dining room however and itâs a great place for families.

We last visited this restaurant when they were still in their old premises, and were pleased to see that they have been able to expand their menu after moving. Service was still extremely efficient and pleasant, and we were brought very tasty tapas whilst waiting for our food to be served. Two of us had burgers (very good, and huuuuge, with great chunky chips) and the other two had paninis served with lovely fresh salad and patatas bravas, making it a substantial meal. My only disappointment was that they were out of lemon drizzle cake on this occasion (I remembered how good it was from our last visit) so I had to settle for Bailey's cheesecake instead. Hard life but somebody's got to do it! Congratulations to the owners and their family for being able to maintain their high standards for so long, may they continue to prosper.Thank you for your very kind review. As a business thats been serving people in Almunecar for over 18 years its great to hear that our customers are still enjoying what we are serving. Dinner here last night was outstanding. A very quiet setting that seats about 20 people. Reservations are essential. The restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday. Do not miss a chance to eat here. Service is outstanding and the food is delicious. Nice wine list too. Highly recommend this restaurant.
