Reviewed By kathyfR3126UUThis place was exactly as advertised. The photos online are a true reflection. The place is very clean. I liked that the main door was locked at night. The unit door and patio door had extra locks. I felt secure staying here. We did have a problem with the TV but the staff came over and fixed it right away. I would stay here again.

Lodge is in a meadow on 6+acres at the Welcome to Sister Bay sign. Clean, friendly, well appointed, we offer fine accommodations at a reasonable cost, year round... Located minutes from beaches, state parks, biking, hiking, golf as well as the art, music and theater of Door County. Visit orchards, farm markets, wineries, or hang out at the pool or near the fireplace. We have added a Fitness Center for workouts which has an infrared sauna for muscle recovery.

Reviewed By pennym71We drove to Sister Bay without a reservation and stopped at Open Hearth on a friend's recommendation. It did not disappoint! Just our luck, there was one room left! Very affordable, clean, staff was very accommodating and friendly. Outdoor fire in the evening we could see from our room. Didn't get a chance to enjoy it outside as the chairs were always full. Breakfast was typical continental but plenty to choose from to start the day! Will definitely go back.

Reviewed By MikeD04Great choice for us! We needed a place to stay for two nights. The rooms were clean and comfy. The staff was very courteous and helpful. There was an out door fire pit. Off the highway so no traffic noise. Very quiet. Nothing real fancy, but a perfect place to stay for us.

Reviewed By Matt WRooms are a little dated, but they are very clean, and beds are comfortable. Pool/hot tub area was closed but there is lots to do in the area, and came back to this hotel and got a great night sleep. The hotel is back off the road enough that there wasn't a lot of road noise in the rooms. I would stay here again for sure.

Clean, friendly, near everything but still tucked away
Reviewed By Z9857NEtammypThe room was so clean, and the bathroom and shower area were really nice! The owners are friendly and very helpful. We had lunch there, and the food was wonderful. The hotel is just a block or two from the middle of town, including the park on the lakeshore, shops, and restaurants, but it still feels quiet and tucked into a quiet space. We would definitely stay there again.
