We come here 6 or 7 times a year. Itâs always with great anticipation. Whether itâs breakfast, lunch or dinner. We have always been satisfied with the service and the food!We always order appetizers and soup and main meal and occasionally the wonderful desserts We love this place!!! Unless you live seafood, not a lot other choices. Food was good but overpriced like all Broadmoor venues. Could have a pasta or lighter fare. Service is ok and the ambiance is very nice.

Wandered into this Bavarian restaurant on a trip to Colorado Springs. WOW! Food was good--maybe great--authentic German including the beer menu. We were with a group of friends and ordered some of the various "combination/sampler" plates offered. Mined had jagerschnitzel and ghoulash. There were also great looking sausages. I cannot rave enough about this place and along with great food, great atmosphere we had a wonderful server who managed to make the whole night fun.

My wife and I and another couple had a special evening at Penrose this week. Fantastic experience. We chose the 3 course offering which was plenty of food. I enjoyed the cod after a creative lobster salad. My wife had a great steak and salad. The service was outstanding and wine list was huge but offered several price choices. Bring your wallet but sit back and enjoy a great meal.
