You pay when you walk in the door and serve yourself drink and plate. The dining room and serving areas are dirty and run down. This building looks like it was a drive through captain Ds or similar. Kitchen looked filthy. I can't believe we actually are here. I hope we don't get sick from it. There were a lot of locals there though. The clientele were in pjs and gym shorts, the host didn't understand English. All the food was covered in sauce that all taste the same and I'm pretty sure one of the chicken dishes was spoiled meat. It stunk!This restaurant was really cheap- $13 for two with drinks for lunch.... But from the experience- we know why. Avoid this place. However- across the street from the restaurant is a beautiful memorial garden and historic area worth driving through.

After eating dinner with my husband, son and daughter-in-law at Cajun Seafood and Wings, I thought why go to the coast? Just head to Orangeburg, for really good authentic Cajun seafood. My husband said it was as good as New Orleans, Louisiana or Biloxi Mississippi. Tucked into a very small complex, Cajun Seafood and Wings boasted a full parking lot and many people stopping by for pick orders. We ordered peel and eat shrimp, crab leg clusters and crawfish. All orders are served with a hearty portion of corn on the cob, slices of kielbasa and red potatoes . You can choose the Cajun sauce, garlic butter or lemon pepper. My husband chose the garlic butter for his shrimp and it was good. I loved the lemon pepper butter sauce with my crab and shrimp small plate which was not small. Our son and daughter-in-law had all three sauces mixed to go with their large foil pan of shrimp, crawfish and crab legs and that is the way to go. Combining all three butter sauces which is a choice offered when ordering was beyond good! Cajun seafood and wings offers sodas, sweet tea and lemonade and fruit punch but no alcoholic beverages or even unsweetened tea. I didn't miss the wine or beer but would like unsweetened tea the next time I return! Also wet wipes would be a plus because of all the butter sauces amidst the seafood.

I have stopped here a couple of times this past year when I have reasons for being in Orangeburg. I sat in and dined each visit for a quick lunch. Today I have a small egg drop soup and an egg roll. The soup is tasty and piping hot. I put in a bag of fried wonton strips and ate an egg roll while waiting for the soup to cool. I have two packets of hot mustard, and two packets of duck sauce squeezed on the egg roll. Both items are good for warming the belly on a cool, drizzling day. China Town, also, serves some Japanese Cuisine and has a special diet menu. China Town is in University Plaza next to Domino Pizza, across the street from South Carolina State University. China Town's prices are reasonable, and the service is quick and efficient. I plan to stop again.

Located at the intersection of Chestnut Street and St. Matthews Road, this is a storefront restaurant with ample parking. I have visited here twice for lunch and both times I am pleased with the food and the service. I ate inside the restaurant that is not so cozy, but I am satisfied enough with the atmosphere and cleanliness of the setting that seems more as a seating area for persons waiting on take-outs. It appears to have a thriving take-out service. Both times the portions are generous and the food is delicious. I have the Kung Boo Chicken today and the price is reasonable. I will stop here again. I will try different items next time because I believe whatever I order will be tasty.
