Reviewed By 825brynwStayed two nights to many on this tired outdated and expensive campsite. EHU for motor homes caravans and tents. Basic basic poorly maintained pitches. Moved twice in the time we were here 30/4/2022. There are accommodation modules hired out to excitable drunk “adults” on a rave with music blaring till 0300hrs in morning. Reported to management not interested and the same for following night. Site has permanent caravans and tents that personally I would not keep chickens in. Third and last Orbitur site I will be stopping in. Only plus point is you can park up catch a bus and ferry to visit Lisbon. Good surfing beaches close by.

With a wonderful staff and the ever present scent of fresh food, amazing fruit and the sweet aroma from the sea, this is an amazing inexpensive alternative to get to know the real Portugal. Dont be scared: all stafd speaks a bit of english and everyone will do their level best to get you feeling right at home!

Since the beginning it was evident the lack of control and security after the covid pandemy: hundreds of people walking and living together without mask or keeping distances. We arrived around 12:00 and we were assigned the worst spot that a camping fan can dream about: caravans and roulottes all around, no trees and sun all day, no grass but hard soil with lot of roots and stones. Cherry on top: people not respecting the common sense of being silent at least after 23:00 (we managed to sleep at 2:00 am only). I would never recommend this to anyone.

Die Anlage ist wunderschön und es ist ein Erlebnis, in den Bubbles zu schlafen, sogar bei Regen und Gewitter(war bei uns der Fall). Der Pool ist top gepflegt, leider waren der Whirlpool viel zu stark gechlort. Nichts für mich als Astmathiker. Die Bubbles sind sehr beengt durch die grossen sehr bequemen Betten, aber man muss schon sehr jonglieren, um sich zu bewegen. Die Badhäuschen sind gross und gepflegt, es gibt Bademäntel, die aber leider merkwürdige gelbe Flecken hatten, daher haben wir sie nicht benutzt. Was mich zum Punktabzug bringt, ist der Umgang mit Gästen. Wir haben im Vorfeld angekündigt, wir kämen 1 Stunde früher, dies wurde von Booking-com auch bestätigt. Die frühe Ankunft passte dem jungen Mitarbeiter aber wohl nicht. Kein "Herzlich willkommen", nicht mal ein Lächeln, sondern nur: " Okay, jetzt seid Ihr ja hier, dann zeig ich es Euch schon mal." Ein Gespräch wurde abgeblockt, wir bekamen immerhin ein Wasser, dann verschwand er wieder. Ich bin selbst aus dem Hotelfach, so würde ich niemals mit Gästen umgehen. Er wurde abends nochmal kurz gesehen, dann erst beim Frühstück. Das Frühstück war qualitativ okay, aber nicht sehr üppig. Wir sind anschließend noch ins Cafe gegangen. Wir können die Bewertungen, die die kulinarischen Genüsse und die Herzlichkeit der Besitzer rühmen, leider gar nicht bestätigen. Es kommt uns vor, als wären sie ausgetauscht oder nicht vor Ort. Dann sollte man aber die Mitarbeiter besser Schulen. Sehr schade, denn es war unsere Hochzeitstag-Reise. Das haben wir auch gesagt, interessierte den jungen Mann aber nicht. Die gesamte Anlage ist ziemlich weit draussen im Niemandsland, es gibt erst in ca. 15 km Restaurants oder Läden. In der Anlage gibts kein Essen, man muss sich selbst versorgen, aber das ist okay beim "Camping". Bei zuvorkommenderem Personal würde ich 4 Punkte vergeben, so reicht es leider nur für sehr wohlwollend vergebene 3Punkte, sorry.
