Came there for a short visit with my family. Had Mexican style chicken soup, very rich with chicken, and coffee and a homemade local delicatesse "Sara" cake. The food was good and the pricing even better. The main dish was for 990 kr (7 euros) which you don't find so easily in Iceland nowadays. The coffee and cake were 400 (3 euro) each, also a bargain here. In the garden outside they have installed garden toys for the kids so everyone was very satisfied with the visit.

Riverside cafe & Bistro is a coffee shop in the heart of Selfoss. It is located next to/inside Hotel Selfoss. Great coffee, food, drinks and sweets. Perfect for families. Good wheelchair access and toilets. Welcome everyone.

After many hours in flight, car rental hell, and an hour in the car as we motors towards Vik, we lucked into this place. Sweet server, decent food, especially the fish and chips (ample, truly enough for 2)

The Geysir Center is just another large gift shop but interesting none the less. Prices are kinda high so we passed on souvenirs. There were some eats but not cheap.

On our tour of Iceland, a friend and I stopped in here for some lunch. We both enjoyed our hamburger and chicken burger with fries. My friend especially enjoyed her cafe latte (served with a tiny square of chocolate). The service was prompt, setting enjoyable. Note for those with mobility limitations: the washroom is up a steep flight of stairs and not easy to navigate.
