My wife and I visited this restaurant in a tour party from a cruise ship. No welcome from staff and although the place was empty, they wanted us to crush together on two tables. Reluctantly they let us have a third table after we caused a fuss. It was promoted as a lobster feast but was small longoustine served in a sharing bucket, very messy. The staff did not clear plates away and only seemed interested in selling drinks. Customer service was shocking. I would not advice anyone to go here.

The little restaurant place is extremely pricey 'cause there are no other eating place around the area. Also, the two women serving in the front counter were extremely rude and refused to serve, don't know if it was a racial problem or just in their nature. I guess if doing the tour 'Game of Thrones' always bring your own lunch and eat on the bus and just grab a cup of tea, well, in my situation, they also refused to give me cup of tea and said, machine broken.Thank you for your spending your time to give us a straight and detailed feedback. The satisfaction of our guests has highest priority. Please accept our sincerest apology for any trouble or inconvenience we have caused you. We will further evaluate how we can prevent this problem from occurring again in the future.Again, we highly appreciate your feedback as it will assist us in becoming better at what we do.Best regards,GE

Our group of four at here on both nights we were in Selfoss. The meals were marvellous, high quality and good value compared to others. Highly recommended.

We chose this restaurant after reading many good reviews, so perhaps our expectations were too high.It is very nice inside, quite quirky with a warm and cosy feel. The staff were a mixed experience; the first man we spoke to seemed friendly, but our waitress seemed rather distant and uninterested. The main disappointment really though was the food; there was nothing bad about it as such, but it wasn't particularly good, just rather average. All in all it was an expensive meal that didn't live up to expectations.
