Das Frühstück war groÃartig!!!! Alles Landestypisch, mit gebratenen Bananen Rührei und Bohnenbrei. Dazu gab es wundervollen Kaffee und frischen Orangensaft. Der Service ist perfekt. Der Kellner ist sehr Aufmerksam und spricht sehr gut Englisch. Hier gibt es Wifi und die Räume sind klimatisiert. Die Preise sind sehr günstig, alles ist sauber und neu renoviert! Es gäbe so viel zu schreiben... kommt einfach selbst mal vorbei

We arrived at 5:15pm, planning on just having a drink, but ended up staying for food too. We had the quesadilla, tacos and chips, followed by delicious oreo cheesecake and lime pie - yum!Best of all, the staff were very attentive and we left promptly at 6pm as they closed, couldn't have asked for a more efficient service!The 'mora' (blackberry) juice was very tasty too! The only downfall was that the portions were perhaps a little smaller than expected, but we were ordering snacks after all!

We stumbled on to Café Tejas by chance as we were wandering out of our hostel Vital Yek looking for a place to eat. And what a find! Placed between two buildings with a beautiful mix of natural wooden rafters and trees providing shelter, the tables are dotted around amongst beautiful bits and pieces to look at, and there are lots of interesting wee nooks and crannies to sit in! The service was faultless - Rafael made us feel right at home and loved recommending things from the menu for us as pescatarians to try... the fish ceviche in particular was amazing! The music was a great mix of classic tunes and more laid back melodies, overall contributing to the cosy, homely feel of the place. After our food we met Roberto (Basa) the owner of the place, and his enthusiasm was infectious, and a real testament to El Salvadoran hospitality. Can't recommend this place highly enough, can't wait to come back! Thanks guys was a real placer know you hope see you again !!!!
