An intimate guesthouse-hotel nestled in a cork forest with views to the sea in the heart of the Monchique mountains. Vila Foia has 11 rooms: 6 double rooms, 2 family rooms, 1 suite and 2 studios with kitchenettes, all with balconies and wonderful views of the Algarve coastline. Lovely place to relax next to the salt-water swimming pool, walk the mountain trails and enjoy the local gastronomy. Generous buffet breakfast served daily. Village of Monchique is 3km away. Faro Airport is 60mins away.

Reviewed By 460micheliGreat place and a excellent value for money! I recommend to anyone looking for a relax or active holidays!!! The breakfast is delicious, the rooms are spacious and feature also floor heating for the stay over winter. Great staff and service too!

Miradouro da Serra is an excellent choice for travelers visiting Monchique, offering a budget friendly environment alongside many helpful amenities designed to enhance your stay. The rooms offer a flat screen TV, and getting online is possible, as free wifi is available, allowing you to rest and refresh with ease. Miradouro da Serra features shops, a convenience store, and a gift shop. Guests arriving by vehicle have access to street parking. Given the close proximity of popular landmarks, such as Sao Sebastiao Church (0.3 mi) and Caldas de Monchique (2.5 mi), guests of Miradouro da Serra can easily experience some of Monchique's most well known attractions. No breakfast with the bed
Reviewed By Poppy TThe most expensive of all the rooms that we stayed in whilst walking the Viaalgaorviana. No breakfast even though it is advertised as a B and B in big writing on the outside. When we asked all we received was a curt no, even though we had already handed over 45 Euros. Would not recommend.

Estalagem Abrigo da Montanha, is an Inn which overlooks the village of Monchique. The Inn is built of granite complemented with wood and is wonderfully comfortable. The restaurant and sitting room, with its fireplaces, give it a cozy atmosphere with a sense of well-being only possible in places of the highest quality.

Reviewed By salsera01This lodge is in my top ten of WORST places i have stayed in. Decor bedding and curtains date back to 1960's. Room in February was freezing.The guy who showed us the room, plugged in a radiator which started to smell and in the morning we realised it had burnt inside the plug and melted into the wall. Breakfast was basic to say the least. Cold coffee and no English tea. No marmalade only peach jam.The same guy who gave us the room was eating his breakfast whilst face timing a friend for at least 30mins. Only upside was the view. Avoid at all costs.No maintenance money spent on it. For sale for many years...think it will be for sale for many more. A total rip off.

Reviewed By 309julietsFabulous small hotel in a very beautiful location. This small and cosy hotel has fabulous views from the terrace and is a perfect location for walkers. The hotel owner is very helpful and friendly and I would definitely return again.
