Reviewed By MariKrisThe hotel has great location, just behind the corner of the city center. It is very cozy, with an internal patio. Rooms are located all around the patio on two levels, well organized, clean. Breakfast is single packaged as per covid safety measures. Staff kind and helpful.

Reviewed By siltysoilWe were staying in this hotel as our son involved in a conference in the university city of Alcala de Henares. The hotel is in the city walls so little traffic and quirt.. The staff only Spanish speaking were helpful even thought a language barrier we all got by. Our room was clean, beds comfortable and towels changed if wished every other day, no breakfast but if you are busy do you really need an expensive hotel? [Drinks machine in lobby]. We would go back there even I think if we were going to visit Madrid again as station is only 15 minutes walk from hotel.. Public transport is cheap compared to UK..

Reviewed By Anne SThe old man who runs the place was extremely rude and racist to a black lady guest,threatening to charge her for standing,where she had been waiting for her friend,having prepaid for her friend to stay there.When she informed him that she was a paying guest,he did not believe and went to check.Despite confirming this,there was no apology,he even threatened to catch her out "next time",as if she would bother staying there next time.I feel this hotel should be clear on their site that black guests are NOT welcome.NEVER AGAIN.

Reviewed By Alan SThis was our third visit to this small family run hotel, but the side of the catherdral in Alcala. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable and the staff are friendly and offer a great service. Although not open on a day time Mondays, the bar/restaurant serves good food, great selection of free tapas with every drink and the beer is some of the best I have tasted in the region. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to get away from the bog standard chain hotel and servies where you are no more than a number. We'll be back next year!

A good hotel for a good price
Reviewed By rasa0704It is very clean, quite peaceful. The bathroom ir nice. The internet is very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The staff don't speak English. We communicated using translator. The rooms are quite small. It is not warm. You have always use air conditioning to warm you. We expected to find bigger rooms. For breakfast no hot water. You have to heat it in microwave. The furniture is quite old. Our wardrobe was broken, but we didn't mind.
