Opposite the Parador, close to the Plaza Cervantes. An historic building providing excellent locally sourced food cooked traditionally. Service was excellent and the food delicious. Unfortunately this restaurant is not open on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings. Possibly the best restaurant in Alcalá.

We have been in about 25 Paradors around Spain. Most of them are unique - but this one is ultramodern and unique, with a scent of an ancient place.
The service was excellent, the rooms are very modern and both time we have been there we received a very nice room with a view to a interesting garden.
Excellent breakfast !

I was only in Spain for a week while working and really fancied a curry. Quick look on here and this place stood out.
First time I had the Chicken Jalfrezi with Pilau Rice and a naan baked with chilli's (not standard but they did it for me!). Lovely meal all round.
Second time I had a chicken tikka masala again with pilau rice and a chilli naan. This time I brought some nice English Tea, tea bags which they made for me without question!
Service was second to none, with English speaking waiters and prompt efficient service. I even dropped my serviette at one point and he came straight over to replace it without me asking!
Overall, can't recommend this place enough.

A very friendly atmosphere with superb food. Highly recommended, we had a great night. I can recommend the breaded zucchini flower (flor de calabacin)......fantastic!

We are a totally artisan pizzeria, where our pizzaioli made pizza dough by hand daily with fresh ingredients and top quality.Our kitchen has a Mediterranean influence, but not entirely, since we also use products from other countries to find the best possible flavor in each of our plates.Our pizzaioli are in charge of the kitchen of the pizzeria, technique and passion that made the pizzas has led to its being a reference pizzeria quality pizza in Alcala de Henares.Our pasta is made on a homemade Italian recipes tradicionales. En the development of our traditional base plates and apply a touch of evolution, and thereby obtain flavor, color, freshness and good aesthetics.

Pizzas the best, hight quality, good atmosphere, but better Spanish wines. Burratta always recommended, and candles are very romantic.

Simply put: try it. I would recommend this place. Good food, good environment, good service and very well priced.
The croquetas were excellent, as was the meat and the Deserts.
If you are planning to visit Alcalá, then I recommend you book a table in advance.

We came here on recommendation of some locals and were not disappointed. Slightly lucky to actually get a table on the weekend (the place is not huge), we were treated very friendly in an informal way. The decoration is not especially stylish, but a bit nicer than your run-of-the-mill Spanish place. The majority of customers seemed to be locals coming regularly - not a bad sign.
The food was nothing outstanding and simple in its presentation, but tasty and in quite generous rations. Again, somewhat above average. For what we paid for both we usually get one normal meal in Madrid. Not the place for that special occasion, but perfectly suitable for a hearty lunch or dinner.

Nice environment and the girl who served us super friendly.
However, menu cards very limited, five fish dishes and three meat dishes. Vi ordered lamb, one of the meat dishes. It was finished , so we had to order fish, the only thing that was interesting for us.
My wife's fish was OK, while my Rape (monk fish) was tough.
