We were pleasantly surprised during our first visit to El Zonte, there are a lot of good restaurants but not ones that ate combined with boutique hotel infrastructure. The menu is small but each dish is exquisitely prepared with unique flavors. A teal palate pleaser. El Salvador needs more of these boutique hotels and restaurants. All in all, we have found a great place for a weekend getaway or day trip from San Salvador

We stopped in for lunch yesterday on the recommendation of a friend and came away fairly pleased. We had the tuna appetizer - it was really good (though a bit heavy-handed on the sesame oil). I had the mahi-mahi grilled and served over a red quinoa. The fish was perfectly cooked, but there was too much red onion mixed in with the quinoa. My companion had the grilled shrimp and declared them fantastic - and she really liked the yucca that accompanied. Overall it was a good meal experience but perhaps the chef could oversee the prep line a little closer. The restaurant is attached to the Puro Surf hotel.

si deseas comer de los frutos del mar puedes ir a las TUNAS y comer sano y comodamente y después ver las olas o darte un baño y disfrutar ver el atardecer

En la playa del Zomte, lugar frecuentado por los amantes del surf, exite un lugar que aunque no es muy conocido ni frecuentado por turistas, dispone de unas habitaciones frente a la playa, a unos precios muy prudentes, este lugar se llama la Ostra loca, esta regentado por Don Abelino y su esposa Ana, una familia encantadora y amable, que hacen de tu estancia un placer, el lugar dispone de comedor, y ademas puedes comerte las ostras mas frescas y sabrosas, de toda la Costa del Pacifico, que yo conozco. Don Abelino "Abel el ostrero" que es como todo el mundo lo conoce, regoge personalmente las ostras, en toda la costa Salvadoreña del pacifico, y te las prepara de una manera, que comerlas es una delicia. Si visitas este lugar no dudes en provarlo seguro que te encantara. Tambien suele dar permiso para montar tu tienda de campaña."puedes decir que te lo recomendo Francisco el Español"
