We are located in Bahia de Jiquilisco, a Biosphere, the largest coastal estuary and consists of a largely undeveloped mangrove-lined series of inlets and canals. At Puerto Barillas you will find an excellent service provided by local people of Hacienda La Carrera, who are third generation workers of one of the most productive haciendas in Latin America in the 70s. Our facilities include lodging in te midst of a tropical forest with cocoa trees and plams trees of tow kinds: full equipped apartments and tree houses, all of them with barbacues, a restaurant with a nice bay view and complimentary WIFI in social areas, swimming pool, soccer field and a convenience store onsite. Our attractions include: boat tours through the bay, or visiting a pristine island, visit our monkey sanctuary (spider monkeys- a very entertaining experience- monkeys are in their natural habitat and are very playful as visitors bring them bananas) and cocoa tours, Kayak rentals or if you decide just to relax this is the perfect place. We are located in Canal Barillas in Bahia de Jiquilisco, surrounded by mangroves. Our location is at the end of a big sugar cane, cocoa and plantain hacienda. Bahia de Jiquilisco was designated as a RAMSAR wetland on Octobetr 31st, 2005. Hosts the largest abundance of coastal-marine birds in the country (aprox 231 species of birds) A critically important hawksbill nesting site

Reviewed By jaelvalienteEverything was perfect. The food, the amazing facilities, the monkey's sanctuary, the bay, the people, everything. You cannot access on a Sedan or compact car, you need a 4x4. You need to contact the office if you think you'll be late so they can provide you with an alternate number to keep in touch with you. They can also send someone to scort you from the highway to the hotel.

Hotel Los Mangos offers a warm home atmosphere for you to enjoy an excellent stay. The only Eco Boutique Hotel in the area where you really relax. Enjoy the morning sunrise or beautiful sunset at night with a nice sea breeze and a spectacular ocean view. One of the main advantages of Hotel Los Mangos is that it overlooks world class surf point break Punta Mango. The location is 9 km west of El Cuco beach at Los Mangos beach in eastern El Salvador.

Communication when making reservation was really poor and not accurate. Seemed to be under staffed. Although staff was nice we waited over an hour for a meal for 9 people

Reviewed By violelinkin110La habitación tiene su baño independiente, cuenta con televisión, mueble de madera para guardar tus cosas y una terraza con una vista impresionante. El clima en el lugar es fresco por lo que las habitaciones no cuentan con aire acondicionado, sin embargo si cuenta con un ventilador de techo el cual no utilizamos dado el frío de esa noche. La hospitalidad del personal y atención es muy buena, la estadía te incluye el desayuno y cuenta con un oasis de agua embotellada en el primer nivel. The room has its own bathroom, has a television, wooden furniture to store your things and a terrace with an impressive view. The climate in the place is cool so the rooms do not have air conditioning, however it does have a ceiling fan which we did not use given the cold that night. The hospitality of the staff and attention is very good, the stay includes breakfast and has an oasis of bottled water on the first level.

Reviewed By RIDUQUIHotel muy bonito ya que esta bastante nueo, las habitaciones son comdas y espaciosas, se encuentran limpias y son bastante confortables, la atencion es bastante buena, solamente nos alojamos una noche. FALTA QUE MEJOREN EL DESAYUNO MUY POCA VARIEDAD.
