We were surprised when we realized the geography of Grand Island, so while staying at the Radisson, we looked for a restaurant on the island itself. The Village in was a delightful discovery. The menu was diverse. The food was delicious home style cooking and the portions were enormous!We ordered Hot Wings as an appetizer since we were so near Buffalo, primarily to take out for lunch tomorrow. We each sampled one and they were wonderful!! Spicy and tangy with just the right amount of heat at "medium."I ordered one of the daily specials, meatloaf with mashed potatoes and broccoli. John ordered the chicken Parmesan. Both plates were extremely generous and so very tasty that there was no room in the tank for dessert. Bummer. The double chocolate cake was so tempting at the next table over...

We dined here for supper and had a very nice experience. My sashimi was very good - fresh, tasty and a generous portion. Her rolls were likewise. Our server was excellent. There is a small wine list. Prices were very reasonable. If I were a local, this would be my âgo toJapanese.â

We came in early Sunday evening after our tour guide recommended it. We walked in & weren't acknowledged. We stood there & when a couple left, we grabbed their table. After we sat down, the table was still not cleared & still no acknowledgment. After 10 minutes of sitting there, we got up & walked out. Went down the road to Qdoba instead.

This is one of those gems that locals know about and tourists just drive by in fear.Saw their advert in local newspaper, and , actually , a competitor , whose kitchen was closed that day referred me. Incredible home cooked meals, huge portions, wing deals on Monday and Tuesday, cooked to perfection, and cheap draft beer! Very inviting regular clientele. Nice atmosphere.. engaging staff.I'll definitely return.. Its handy to Anchor Motel..

We ate lunch here, just down the road from where we were staying at the Falls Motel. It looks like someoneâs house from the outside. Inside itâs a nice clean place and quite spacious. Quick friendly service, with great burgers.Recommend
