My husband and I were on our last day of a 2 week France tour. Being vegan is hard to find good healthy foods in French restaurants. This small cafe-style place has a fresh simple vibe. Among their various meat dishes, we found two kinds of vegetable ravioli, several a la carte plates that really resemble home cooking (no nonsense in their ingredients, I know), the (vegetable) sweat and sour soup was so good we repeated our order once the first bowl was done. At the end, the bill was very reasonable too.It was an excellent way to finish another Europe tour, who knows a small simple restaurant can leave such a high mark before we head home to the U.S.

My friends and I ate at this restaurant while visiting Caen. The burgers were undercooked when we all ordered well done burgers. The fries were terrible they seem to have been cooked in well reused oil. The burger did not go down well. The prices were also very high for what you get. The good advantage is that the staff are very friendly. I would not recommend this restaurant.

We went to Burger Street in January on our trip to Caen, primarily to get out of the cold - however, once inside, it was really a great experience. The food was awesome and the portions were rather large (see photo) - the chips were home-made too, and were of excellent quality. I was even offered a free cup of tea!

As vegetarians, we were pleased to see a veggie burger on the menu. Not cheap, but it looked good. We were however a bit disappointed upon receiving out meal to find that there was no burger at all! What was there was very nice; salad, roasted vegetables etc, but it really lacked something and was expensive for a burger with no burger. We suggested to the very friendly helpful staff that if only they slipped in a slice of tempeh, they'd have a winner on their hands. The chips were homemade with a homemade mayonnaise and very good. Great atmosphere, nice deco. Looking forward to going back when they've improved their menu.

What an amazing restaurant, found it shortly after arriving in the town. Very friendly staff great menus and the best burger I have ever had. Everyone should visit here and enjoy great food and hospitality.
