I usually distrust restaurants which have photos of food on the walls, but here that would be a mistake. The menu is interesting and short (a good sign), and the food is beautifully presented. Duck parmentier was delicious, and my friend was ecstatic about his steak.They are a micro brewery and their kolsch beer is very good. Nice bar as well. Staff all very welcoming.

when you drive up to the restaurant, the first thing you see is "nightclub". Kinda gets you wondering :-).On the outside it's not what you call an attractive restaurant, but once inside you would swear you're on a ski slope (when I was there).Friendly staff, awesome pizza, good vibes!When in the neighbourhood, you should definately eat here!It is with a great pleasure that we read your opinion.We thank you for it and hope to see you again soon at our home.Thank youJojo des Ilettes

We went as a family, 3 kids, 2 adults. Found this place to be a bit pricey for the portions given. The children got kids meals of nuggets and veggies and received 4 small nuggets and tiny brocoli serving, small sweet potato spoonful, they were still very hungry! The fish "Cabillaud" was delicious and served beautifully but for 26euros it was a very small serving. The pizzas were good but again quite small, the cost of the meal was absurd for what we received. The service was good but they many items were not available. With so many other options I would not return to this restaurant.

Friendly restaurant with great service. We arrived in Chatel from UK too late for lunch or to buy food. Le Grizzly came to the rescue despite having finished service and served a delicious assiette of charcuterie and fromage. Served with a smile. Perfect. Must return for the full menu.

This place is hard to find. You twist and turn along a single track road from Champéry for what seems like ages, climbing steeply then descending to the stunning Barme valley underneath the massive Dents Blanches. This is a hidden paradise of wonderful walking, but when you have earned a great meal, this refuge with rooms serves fabulous food. We ate lunch on the terrace in brilliant sunshine under parasols and it was perfect. Dole Blanc (a Valais white wine blushed red) was lovely, the plat du jour of lamb gigot with chanterelles mushroom risotto was sublime. This is one of those holiday moments that just worked. I hope others agree. Judging by the huge number of local Swiss who were there enjoying the ambience with us, this is a firm favourite of theirs also.
