In the past when staying at Frankfurt airport we've gone into the town, which has cost a fortune in taxi fares. Looking for somewhere nearer I discovered this seriously authentic Italian restaurant offering both a trattoria and an upscale menu, so everything from Pizza to serious dining.The service was very good, the food was absolutely excellent. I had pasta with rapini after a very good antipasto. We were sat in the main restaurant but requested the trattoria menu and there was no problem at all. If you have to spend a night at Frankfurt airport don't eat at the hotel, get in a taxi and try this place, and they'll order a cab to take you back. It was wonderful and I'll be back next year I hope.

I had dinner there with my friend and the food was quite good. But what really made our experience was the two waiters: Florian and David. They were so welcoming and accommodating, and had us laughing all along the way. For Germany, this is really rare. Bravo FACES !

Finally there is an alternative to all the sweet and calory loaded stuff in airports! At Meyer they make you fresh juices on the spot, with the ingrediences you choose Salads are fresh, quality price relation for airport very good. Service a bit slow at times, they have a weired system to clean the tables. Buckets to discharge and recycle would be an option instead of sending someone around collecting the stuff from the tables. Enjoyed my meal and the choice very much. Will get back :-)

What is the most you have ever paid for a liter of water from a restaurant? When I ordered my breakfast I asked for some water -- it wasn't on the menu and I didn't think to ask because, well, it was WATER. Notholy water, not special imported water -- just H2O with some carbonation. Imagine my surprise when I received a bill charging me 8.50 Euros for the privilege of drinking a bottle of water. This is more than I have ever been charged for water anywhere ever in my life. And given the price, it seems self evident that this layover stop is deliberately scamming people -- I didn't receive my bill until after I consumed the water, so there wasn't much to be done at that point because the damage was done. I would avoid this place; it is extremely sketchy to charge so much for water under any circumstance, but especially so when the listed beverages are a more reasonable price (e.g., a double espresso is 4 Euro), so one wouldn't expect this outrageous charge for water on the bill. Ugh!
