We had dinner here while on a layover at Frankfurt airport. The service was good. You seat yourself so we sat out on thee mall section. We both had a salad, and I had calamari while the bride had a pizza. We shared a half liter of wine. Bill was $42 Euro. Food was hot and tasty.

Das Restaurant hat einen gemütlichen Innenraum und einen idyllischen AuÃenbereich. Das Essen (wir hatten Tapas und Pizza) ist gut, der Service freundlich. Irritierend ist lediglich die Parkplatzbeschilderung. Der Restaurant-Parkplatz scheint gar nicht existent. Dort ist lediglich ein kleiner Personal-Parkplatz. Um Drehmanöver zu vermeiden am Besten gleich auf den Hotelparkplatz fahren.

Ate on an early Tuesday evening, only 3 other tables occupied. Large menu with so many choices of pizza, pastas, meat, fish. Split a pizza, salads, the best spinach tortellini we've ever tasted and a really good Montepulciano wine. Service was a little odd, she kept going outside in the plastic covered patio to smoke, but received our food promptly. Small restaurant with really good food. Would have returned if we stayed in the area longer. They do take credit cards, some parking available next to the restaurant. Walkable from some of the airport hotels in the neighborhood. Enjoyed our dinner very much.

Small intimate setting. Excellent Italian food. This was the best food i had in Frankfurt during my week stay. It was the best Italian food i have had anywhere in the USA.. I can no longer be satisfied with what i can find at home. Da Michele's menu was extensive and creative. It would have been nice to have one menu in English. However, everyone there -including customers, were helpful in picking out what we should have to eat. Their choices were exactly what i like. The chef was very pleasant and visited our table many times. Though i couldn't speak the local language somehow we managed to communicate. The wine and grappa flowed abundantly. The food was surprisingly inexpensive. A very good value! There was too much food to eat. We left with the remainder of the food in tow for others to enjoy the next day. I will come here every time i am in Frankfurt.

You couldn't get a more typical Italian pizzeria than the Amalfi: wood-fired oven, chequered tablecloths on the tables, shelves of wine bottles and wall murals of the "Costiera Amalfitana". The pizzaiolo himself (i.e. chef) looks like the quintessential Italian guy from Naples.The staff is very friendly (at least after a bit of ice-breaking) and the atmosphere very family-like.The food is pretty good and that is also the opinion of a few colleagues of mine whom I took to this restaurant and were happy to come back. I tried a number of pizzas and a couple of pastas and always left full up and satisfied. They are also happy to make customised pizzas, if you fancy some particular combination of toppings.The only thing I would change of their pizza recipe is the amount of salt in the dough; I'm sure a lot of people like it pretty salty, but I would definitely prefer a "reduced salt" or even "no-salt" pizza (could that be an idea for a "Tuscan pizza"? I think it would be great).I'll probably be back again in Frankfurt for business, sooner or later, and already know where to go for dinner, when I'm near the airport.

In the past when staying at Frankfurt airport we've gone into the town, which has cost a fortune in taxi fares. Looking for somewhere nearer I discovered this seriously authentic Italian restaurant offering both a trattoria and an upscale menu, so everything from Pizza to serious dining.The service was very good, the food was absolutely excellent. I had pasta with rapini after a very good antipasto. We were sat in the main restaurant but requested the trattoria menu and there was no problem at all. If you have to spend a night at Frankfurt airport don't eat at the hotel, get in a taxi and try this place, and they'll order a cab to take you back. It was wonderful and I'll be back next year I hope.

Briljant little restaurant, ran by tru Italian service staff. Excellent food from the daily fresh pasta ! No fake, real fresh pasta ! Until the great meat dishes like saltimbocca and pizzaâs. Everything in a service oriented atmosphere !

This restaurant offers good Italian-style food, and it seems to be well known in the neighbourhood. When we arrived to have supper the place was very busy! Nevertheless, we received fast, good service, and the food was excellent. One of us ordered a mixed salad with chicken breast, and the helping was enormous- enough to share!We also share a pizza, which was very good. Prices are reasonable, and this restaurant can be recommended!
