A place in the quiet neighborhood that offers all round outside meals with the taste of Thailand your expecting...there is live music sometimes in the background.Sitting and eating a variety of authentic Asian American dishes and being served with a smile is a nice getaway idea .relaxing atmosphere with simplicity. And what better to enjoy some fancy dishes while enjoying a nice sunset.thid place is also veggie friendly . .great exotic drinks and tasty desserts...

This restaurant is located in San Pedro, which unfortunately doesn't have its own city destination on tripadvisor. I located the restaurant while looking for a restaurant near the San Pedro movie theater. It is a great place to eat before or after a movie. We arrived prior to closing, but the hostess chased us away stating they'd only take to go orders as they were preparing to close. As we walked out the door she chased us outside and stated the owner advised they'd be happy to serve us in the restaurant. There were 2 men eating and it was obvious it would be some time before they were finished with their food. The restaurant is bright, clean and cheery. The service was prompt and at no time did we feel rushed. The staff postponed cleaning to allow us to enjoy our experience, which we appreciated. I have a pet peeve about restaurants cleaning around me,, during normal operating hours. We ordered Chicken Satay, Pad Thai, Pumpkin Curry, and Mongolian Beef. The food was promptly brought to our table piping hot and very fresh. We requested medium spicy, which was still a little spicy for a couple of people in our group, so order accordingly. The food was very tasty. The prices are typical for Thai food, around $12 each dish. The portions are not large, but the 4 dishes were ample for 4 people with some left overs. The owner made a smart decision welcoming us to eat in the restaurant as we will definitely be returning.

Love the food, service and ambience here! Many Thai restaurants have opened and closed in Palos Verdes but I am so glad this one is always busy and have a strong clientele of loyal regulars like my family and I! The Thai chef, Tina and Dragonfly manager, Dean are always around to make sure the food quality and service is perfect! Huge portions, fresh ingredients and the same reasonable prices since the day they open (7 or 8 years ago?). Dragonfly is a great no-frills neighborhood restaurant in PV Peninsula and I hope they will be here to stay for a long long time! Even though I have been a regular for years I finally decided I owe them a review!

This restaurant opened recently in our neighborhood and my husband and I thought we would give it a try. We have only eaten at one other Thai restaurant so we were not sure what to order. The waitress was extremely helpful explaining the dishes. We ended up ordering an appetizer (angel wings) which I would liken to BBQ chicken wings. They were delicious. Then we had a noodle dish (Pahd Woon Sen) and an Thai Wok dish (Eggplant and Basil). All were extremely fresh and delicious. We had enough leftover for 2 lunches the next day! My husband had his first ever Thai beer (Singha) and he said it was great. By the way, we were there early (happy hour) so the beer, my wine, and the appetizer were all half off!! They also bring a condiment dish with 4 hot sauces over with the meal. My husband loves trying different hot sauces so he was in heaven. We will be back!
