We had a good lunch. The service was a little slow but server was friendly and a good atmosphere. Try the 8 oz Sirloin and a potato.

We were in chambersburg for a wedding one weekend in September. We were feeling steak and found the Lone Star. Great move! Greeted by friendly smiles and were seated as we got in. We were eating around 4:45pm. Our server was great! He was very friendly and checked on us often but not in a bothersome way. Very nice to have that kind of service. He joked with us but was very professional. He took his job serious. Meal was great and drinks cold. We had two beers with our meal.Service just added to the excitment of the reason we were in the area.

Hossâs Steak and Sea House is a family restaurant featuring fresh-cut steaks, seafood, and tender chicken entree. All cooked to order! Enjoy our fresh and wholesome Soup & Salad Bar with homemade soups, just-baked breads, fresh fruits, delicious desserts,
Generally, I enjoy Hoss's restaurants due to the quick service and relatively tasty food. I went to the one in Greensburg once and will likely never return. The entire restaurant had a musty smell, our food took forever to come out (over 45 minutes), and the salad bars needed dire tending to (out of many items, soups were literally cold and had a lot of residue on top, items were mixing due to patrons passing food over other items). Taste wise, all the food we had was okay, but I would not return to this particular Hoss's based on this experience.
