One day the cooks in this kitchen will find other, more fulfilling employment and this venue will be reworked into something more viable.I cannot disagree with the bulk of the reviews that mention the ungodly noise level ifmore than two people are talking. We were there on a friday night when a party of sixfemale friends got "martini loud". There were only ten people seated and I could barely hear my companion across the table. Not very social.Drinks are average and prices tend to be a little higher than other places in town.Despite our server's confidence in her; the bartender failed to deliver when it came to a simple but specific specialty drink. Rather than send word that all the ingredients were not available before attempting the drink, a poor substitute was sent out. Sending it back, untouched, brought out a nasty "waitress/manager" who demanded to know "was there a problem at this table" while literally leaning into my face. I explained my drink order whereupon she admonished me that it was made exactly according to the distiller's web site-(what fake site she relied on was beyond me since I pulled up the site on my phone to catch her in the lie.)Hardly social.The manager/owner standing at the bar as we were leaving was little or no help. First trying to deny the incident took place but then disolving into silence once I pointed out I had a witness at the table.But then why bother to respond to a customer concern when you already know you will never see that business again, right?

Great hidden gem on State Street to celebrate a college graduation! From the Prohibition Burger to the Catâs Meow Salad, we always enjoy the food, drink and ambiance. Apparently, the rest of Binghamton does tooâitâs always crowded when we stop by. We even saw the mayor there last time.

We had a great meal. The menu had numerous options, but was very similar to Los Tapatios. Since we enjoy Los Tapatios, we also enjoyed El Pulpo. But I would not say this restaurant was unique.The actual setting of the restaurant was welcoming, clean, fresh, and bright. Definitely a place you could relax and enjoy your food.We will definitely return.
