The Quarter

For almost the last year we have been coming to the quarter because it’s the only Cajun restaurant in the area that had a REALLY decent etouffe. It’s still list on the trip advisor menu, but they have removed it from the menu. When I asked they said they didn’t have the ingredients to make it anymore. Sad thing is the things it takes to make it are staple ingredients included in many of their other dishes. They’ve lost a customer who used to come several times a month and ordered through one of the delivery services. So sorry to hear of your disappointment at the loss of the etouffe. We enjoyed the dish as well but unfortunately it was not a great seller. We would have been happy to make it for you but to make it properly all the ingredients need to simmer in a pot for a few hours. Keep an eye on our Facebook page as we plan to run etouffe as a special periodically.

We thought the tacos we had here were very good; updated contemporary flavor combinations with a twist. Our server, Katie, was a pro. She knew the menu, made helpful recommendations, was super attentive, and was as nice as can be. We were disappointed with the restaurant's website; the menu there was not consistent with what we were given at our table, and it did not list any of the beers available on tap. We were also disappointed with the reservation situation; when we arrived, the employee at the host stand informed us they don't take reservations for groups of four. She dismissed the fact that Chris Wade, the Cabo Operations Manager, has responded to our email reservation request for four people, "I’ll have your name written down at the host stand."Hey MikeThanks for the review and feedback. I am happy that you enjoyed your tacos and very disappointed that the hostess did not honor your request. We do not normally take reservations for smaller parties, but I was copied on that email and noticed that Chris confirmed it. I will definitely find out what happened and get to the bottom of it. So sorry for the confusion. I will let Chris know also. Hopefully you did not have to wait long and that you will not let this mistake stop you from visiting us again. Hope to see you soon. Thanks,Gary
