Newly refurbished building off to the side of the route to Gex from Ferney. This is a chain restaurant but this is its first appearance in this area, and a very welcome one. Excellent selection at midday - the price goes up by about 7 euros for dinner and weekends, so maybe there is even a greater selection then, but at lunchtime you get fresh seafood (including shark), chicken and beef all grilled to order, plus sushi (mainly salmon and cucumber - no sashimi), chicken yakitori, gyoza, many choices of other Asian dishes all served buffet style - including fresh and fried spring rolls - cooked mussels, shrimp (also jumbo shrimp to peel), razor clams ⦠basically whatever you want - there is even a machine to thinly slice cured ham if you want a more local taste. The choices are almost impossible to list - since my interest was in seafood, I have left out most of the other selections. And many dessert offerings, including fruit, ice cream, cakes. It is certainly worth trying at 13.50 euros (there are lower rates for children) at lunchtime. We were there on a Monday - not overly crowded but not empty either. Clearly this restaurant has already become known to people who are working in the area, and, compared to the typical price of the daily lunchtime fixed menu at other restaurants - around 14 euros - this is a very good deal. Large room, everything spotless, there is even a small separate space of about 15 seats around a table that can be closed off for groups. Lots of parking available; the only trick is that you have to enter the parking lot from behind as there is no direct turnoff into the parking lot from the road - but there are signs that show you the way - just look for the Panda Wok sign. And, as with any buffet, bring an empty stomach and an interest in tasting different foods.

Located in the heart of Jura, lâAnversis is the best restaurant Iâve ever been to. The charming décor, good music and the charismatic host above all, will definitely encourage you to go back. The food is not only amazing, but also presented in a poetic manner. At lâAnversis, everything has a story and the host knows how to tell that story. This restaurant has them all: friendly atmosphere, affordable prices, good food, jazz and a charming host.

We have eaten here many times and it never disappoints.The menu is extensive, food is fresh, staff attentive and the atmosphere is nice.Although it isn't cheap, it's good value compared with the prices of similar restaurants in Geneva. There is plenty of parking nearby. Recommend booking on a Friday or Saturday night as it is well frequented.Well worth a visit.
